Not so major spoiler alert... If you complete DmC: Devil May Cry, you'll unlock Dante's white barnet. However, if that's not quite enough to placate your desire for the original, classic Dante, then you'll be able to play as him in DmC, courtesy of the upcoming costume pack DLC.

The DmC Costume Pack will include three alternate costumes for Dante, including Classic Dante, Dark Dante and Neo Dante. Classic Dante sports the original white mop and red trenchcoat, Dark Dante rocks dark blue duds, and Neo Dante is decked out in skintight black with red bandages and Converse All-Stars.

You'll be able to download the DmC: Devil May Cry Costume Pack on January 30th for $3.99/€3.99/£3.19. Check out the costumes below. DmC is out now, and you can read our verdict here.

  • You call that classic Dante? lol
  • That is not classic dante............ thats the new crap dante with old dante hair.
  • I won't play this shitty game looking like an emo turd, the classic Dante skin is better but I hate how its justin bieber with white hair :(
  • justin bieber wishes...
  • This game is actually pretty cool, but people are too biased ( due to the look of the main character) to look at it and give it a chance
  • I dont get it, ppl just dont give it a chance because he had the wrong hair color the first time, now that its fixed they hate even more
  • I too was sceptacle about getting this game, but after playing it at the gamestop EXPO, I pre ordered it. After playig for a few hours, I can say this game is awesome. You can't compare this to the other Devel May Cry games because it has nothing to do with them. This is a new Dante and he is awesome
  • @1 @2 @3 @4 Its DMC3 Dante's Outfit with DMC4's hair, odd choice but looks fine to me. @5 Agreed, the classic Devil May Cry gameplay is still there with small tweaks you'ld expect from a new game in a series. Anyone who is a fan of those games would be silly not to atleast try it before judging (there's a demo for that reason).
  • Who the hell cares what he looks like, people. There's a demo. Go play it. I just beat the game and loved every second of it. Now I'm on to Dante Must Die mode. You are doing yourself a great injustice if you don't play this game.
  • @1: It looks like the fashion criminal we played as 10 years ago, so yes.
  • Great game so far btw LOL Dante is a bit douschy looking he could do with a 5 minute makeover never knew Dante wore a white wig?
  • Are people still moaning about how Dante looks, jesus how many years has it been Would you refuse to watch any bond film after connery because they changed the actor? It's getting pathetic the game is out and by all accounts getting well received by most who have played it You never owned Dante or how he looks and Capcom owe you nothing now they have changed him, get over it and play a great game or don't and miss out it's upto you
  • Emo ? Is Dante an Egotistical Malevolent Otter ? Don't get it
  • *looks at costumes* Meh. *pops DMC HD Collection into PS3* Also, @12 ...its more than just Donte's looks. He's a walking contradiction of a character that lacks a strong presence or lasting impact and is weak.
  • Look Tameen has no balls after all. He keep saying the old Dante is outdated and no longer cool, keep defending his new design but still end up putting DMC3 costumes as DLC... And its not just the look the problem, its the personality. DmC Dante act like a 10 years old immature brat who keep using the ''F'' words like its was cool.
  • @14 You EVIDENTLY haven't played the game. The new Dante is absolutely awesome, isn't just an emo twat as some have predicted by looking pictures. He is very much similar to old Dante, whom is one of my favourite characters. I adore this new DMC. Perhaps the best one yet? At least on par with 3.
  • @16 the first DMC is the best one. i don't think they should've messed with his appearance for the new game. he looks like the singer from My Chemical Romance :( totally unnecessary.
  • You CLEARLY never played the old DMC games. Dante never used ''Fuck'', ''Shit'', ''Dick'', ect. in his vocubulary like a 10 years old. He didn't look like a homeless kid since he actually had a job and a office for Demon Hunting. The gameplay is nowhere close to DMC3, lack of unlockables, no styles, forgettable Demon Weapons, horrible demon/boss designs, crappy environment like DMC2.
  • Capcom is releasing DLC costume pack that is over-priced? I never would have seen this one coming. :)
  • Classic Rebellion please.
  • His face is so goddamn wrong! He looks 40 years old.
  • The long white hair looks terrible on new Dante. Of course Capcom had to please the crybabies and offer this. The other costumes look badass though. I doubt I will purchase them.... But we will see. The original DMC Collection is awesome. DMC 3 is my favorite.
  • let me solve this pointless arguement. if you dont like devil may cry. dont play it. and certainly dont leave your negative feedback that nobody cares to read.. its not like you see me trolling call of duty announcements like i have no life. lol pathetic, i tell you.
  • do anyone realize that this game is suppose to be based on his "teenage" years so of course he doesn't have the same maturity and mind set as he does in the other games because he grew up and "matured" and he does/says whatever he feels like. I've played the game and yes I love the old dmc games and of course old dante but I gotta say this game is worth PLAYING (not worth buying at the $60 price tag to me at least like $50-$400. So please before anyone says "oh this game is crap, oh this dante sucks, oh this oh that, e.t.c" at least play it before you say anything because games like assassin creed and e.t.c have made certain changes like this and made some good and bad points through out the game.
  • i meant to write 50-40 not 50-400
  • now i play the demo and the game its fun but i dont enjoy it as much as 1 2 and 3. and to show how many people like new Dante. i was at magfest this year and someone came as new dante only myself and 1 other person knew who he was.now i well say pick it up if you like the demo but for me its go to game fly or a peeps house to play it.
  • @#18 Extreme purists sure like to come up with crap these days. He doesn't say those vuglar words in order to demonstrate how "cool" he is, he does it because, like many said, he is in his teenage years, which is supposed to show how rebelious he is against society. Your reasoning is that since dante uses those words, he is a 10 year old kid and would be partially the reason why this game is bad. Yeah, because this is the only game with bad language (last time I remembered, GTA4 had tons of cussing and no one gave a damn) His setting (as a "homeless" kid) is basically showing that many teens these days lose themselves in pleasure and are lost as to what to do in the world, so I don't see anything wrong with that. Gameplay-wise, yes, it has no styles, but why would you go the route of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Isn't that what most people are accusing COd of? I think it's a welcome change what they did with the combat in DMC, instead of simply keeping the same mechanics from the previous games. And the part I have to disagree the most is the Boss designs are definitely excellent (though the boss fights themselves are on the easy side) and the enviroment is really brilliant and creative. Of course, one has to actually play the game in order to know these things instead of just acting like you know the game simply from articles and trailers. The only complaint I would have now is the lack of auto-lock.
  • If you preordered on PSN, you can already get this, since it was a preorder bonus. Just re-add the game to your cart (the free version) and when you get to the download part, you will see the costume pack in the download list. Just get the costumes, no need to redownload the whole game.
  • I donĀ“t reallt get it. They make a reboot, even make fun a little with old Dante yet they make the new one look like him. Whats Capcom on?
  • @#29.. The real question is, What isn't Capcom on?
  • @23 While I don't agree with all the hate that it is getting, it also doesn't make sense to tell the haters "don't like it don't play it." There are valid arguments against the haters but this is not one of them. I see that argument and variations of it used on this site more than any other site I visit. It's a strawman argument, as it doesn't address what the other side is arguing. It's commonly used by fanboys who can't handle criticism. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DontLikeDontRead
  • Lol, comments #24 and #27 are the only 2 people I've seen so far see it the same way I see it which is a logical stand point of observation... This game is a reboot which starts even farther back in time then DMC1 did portraying Dante as rebellious young adult... So OBVIOUSLY he is going to act and look different then in the other games when he is clearly older and matured. His attitude matures a bit towards society throughout this game even as you go on. Its just biased and a tad unlogical to hate something over a change that isn't even overly drastic. But, that's what defines a fanboy I guess... >.>
  • @12. i love the new dante look. however from what you said i refuse to watch the daniel craig bond films :P
  • lol Classic Dante. Capcom... no comments
  • First off NT had the original Dante until Capcom told them to change it and go as far away from the original Dante's design. Capcom has been helping NT with combat, how to make the game look like it's running at 60fps when infact it running at 30fps. Now the combat in DMC games has depth, the new DMC game has got good combat but it's aimed at the more casual player. it has a good story but after you've played all of the difficulty levels collected all the collectibles, apart from the leaderboards it has no real replay value. Where the original DMC games did with the combat & style system. Overall the new DMC game is very good and well worth picking up, but i hope the sequel addresses the combat to give it more depth for the hardcore players. This is where MGR will fill the gap, and PlatinumGames will be up against the game they used to make DMC.
  • I don't get it the guy at Ninja Theory said "If the old Dante walked into a bar outside of Tokyo he would get laughted out of the place" meaning he hated the old Dante look. Now he's all like it was Capcom idea and now this dlc which SHOULD HAVE BEEN A UNLOCKABLE OR ON DISK FROM THE START. I'm so happy I didn't waste money on this crap. Knew it was bad when I played the demo.
  • Awful skins, great game though
  • I tell ya, if you want to screw with your top moneymakers, talk to Capcom. They've got the Colonel's Secret EFFin' Recipe...*smGDh* I'm sick of this movement of video games (and society) forcing this image of males looking like FRUITBOXES. This "Dante"...I don't care WHAT the timeline is supposed to be...reminds me of the painted-up Happy Boys walking down Duvall street, WTF?! Is this DANTE? The DEMON-SLAYER? THE SON OF EFFIN' SPARTA?! Or is this the third member of The Weather Girls?! GDamnit, I can't...psh.
