A new downloadable content pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops II has been revealed.

Called Revolution, the pack contains four new multiplayer maps (Hyrdo, Downhill, Grind and Mirage), a new Zombies map (Die Rise) and a Peacekeeper SMG weapon. The content hasn’t been officially announced yet, but a leaked image discloses all the salient details. You can see it below.

In addition to this, MP1st reports that a GameSpot pre-order card for the pack reveals a January 29th release date, with timed exclusivity on the Xbox 360. We’ll bring the official announcement, along with proper dates and prices, as soon as they come.

All that in-depth content for a reasonable price, I'm guessing.

Because what that game needs is another likely-unbalanced SMG in the mix.

Die Rise would be an odd choice for the name of a Zombie map. Most people will think of Der Riese (because nobody seems to know how to pronounce that properly) but looking at the picture it looks more like a play on the word 'highrise.' Maybe some Zombies in LA or another urban/metropolitan area?

At any rate, Treyarch has screwed me over enough only one month after the game released, so I'm passing on DLC unless I see a sale or the Zombies maps blow me away.

Bought this game for £38 on release. Decided it was shit. Sold it for £40 and bought Far Cry 3. Activision and Treyarch, can go suck on my left testicle.

@5 Why not the right?

Back on topic, *clears throat* "Die Rise"?

Move along folks, yet another fake ass add.

And that "Peacekeeper" SMG is just a carbine variant of the SCAR with an adjustable stock, a new rail system and a funky bipod that looks a bit like a motorcycle handlebar.

Are they still trying to get people to fall for the mispriced season pass? Still comes up as £41.99 on the UK store, yet presumably the 4 individual DLCs will be £9.99 each as per the last few games.

@#3 Reasonable price? lol this is CoD. All dlc drops are $15 or you pay $50 for the season pass and get all the dlc for $10 cheaper than buying them seperately

@ #9 not sure if there is a different rate over in EU but I know here in the states the dlc will be $15 a piece and the season pass is $50 here so there is a little saving of $10 here in the states but I can't see dropping $50 at one time when I could use that money to buy other games and plsy them right after the purchase.

$3/map is not overpriced, and that's without the season pass. I thought I was done with CODs, but BLOPS2 multiplayer is just fucking awesome, sorry haters.

@11 Well, on PC/360 the season pass is £34.99/£32.99 respectively, so something's a bit funny with the £41.99 PS3 price... (a full game normally sells at £39.99 on release)

@16 "Der Riese" means "The Giant/Beast". "Die Rise" means "The Rise".
