Grand Theft Auto V
GTA: Vice City Stories, Red Dead Revolver, Bully Rated for PlayStation 3
Written Tuesday, December 18, 2012 By Lee Bradley
View author's profile

A bunch of PlayStation 2 Rockstar titles have been listed for PS3 by the ESRB, suggesting re-releases are imminent.

Among the listings are Bully, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories and Red Dead Revolver. Midnight Club, Midnight Club 2 and Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix are also expected to pup up on the system soon.

Beyond that we have no further information, but we’d be willing to bet a few quid that they relate to Rockstar Games Collection Edition 2 or possibly just PS2 Classics. We’ll bring the official announcement when it comes.

@9: Red Dead Revolver was a really cool game, but was more style than substance. Don't go into it expecting Red Dead Redemption, but it's definitely a lot of fun while it lasts, and it looks like you're playing an old Sergio Leone film.

Anyway, these are almost certainly PS2 Classics, but I'll probably pick up Bully so long as they don't gouge us on the price like they tried to with GTA: San Andreas.

PLEASE ROCKSTAR DO AT LEAST AN HD REMAKE OF BULLY! I think I speak for everyone when I say Bully was a superb PS2 game and an HD Remake of it with trophies on the PS3 would net R* some good cash. I really just hope they do it

Soo this Bully game is a different than Bully: Scholarship Edition or whatever that was on Xbox 360? There were achievements there as far as I remember.
And yeah, Vice City Stories. I already bought the PSP version to play on Vita. Oh well, guess I'll be getting it again... Damn you Rockstar. :P

Dammit Rockstar I want HD releases!

By the way, I would not recommend Revolver if you never played it before and loved Redemption. They are not the same game at all. Hence the six year gap.

Since Bully was just released as a PS2 Classic today, I'd say it'll be the same for the others as well. It'd be nice to get trophies on some of these games, but I've stopped hoping for an HD Collection from Rockstar.

Will be PS2 classics, otherwise they'd have to add trophy patches for a retail release, and judging by the recent history of their classic releases, they won't be adding trophy support. Why would Vice City Stories get trophies while San Andreas wouldn't?

I don't really see why I would buy games I already have on other systems again. It just doesn't hold the added value it would have when it would be upgraded to HD and trophy support added, like Capcom did with Okami. I held R* in higher regard, but this just seems to be more and more a quick money grab...

In addition to last week's release of San Andreas in the PlayStation Network's PS2 Classics Collection, a trio of Rockstar titles from the PS2 era have now been made available to download from the PlayStation Store for $9.99 each.

Bully
Rule the halls of Bullworth Academy as Jimmy Hopkins - a teenager who's been bounced from every previous school he's ever attended who now must navigate the obstacles of the worst school around, working his way up the social ladder of this demented institution of supposed learning, standing up for what he thinks is right and taking on the liars, cheats and snobs who are the most popular members of the student body and faculty.

Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition REMIX
Tear through the living city sprawls of Detroit, San Diego, Atlanta and Tokyo at breakneck speeds. REMIX features the entire original Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition game plus all the content included in the special Remix update - over 20 additional vehicles added to the original roster spanning all car classes.

Red Dead Revolver
The pre-cursor to Red Dead Redemption, this arcade-style third person shooter is a classic tale of vengeance on the untamed frontier and the story of Red Harlow - a bounty hunter prowling the frontier and bringing justice to wicked bandits, while desperate to unravel the identity of his family's killers. Those familiar with Red Dead Redemption's Legends & Killers Pack should remember him and the assortment of other memorable characters from this game that are available to use as multiplayer avatars in Red Dead Redemption.

For those wondering about the release of Vice City on PlayStation Network - stay tuned as we're working to bring that and a few other PS2 classics to PSN soon...

Since they already did Bully:Scholarship Edition on 360 with Achievements, porting it to PS3 should be cake.
