No surprise since the lists were leaked, but still quite nice. :)Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 01:34 PM
It's seem that these days, Special/Premium/Whatever Edition = Game + Artbook.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 01:37 PM
@1: Same. Worth the price just to play Blood Money again. @3: Yeah, never seemed worth it to me since the art is... y'know... in the game already. "Here's a drawing of what you've been looking at for the past 100 hours of gameplay," lol.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 01:39 PM
@3: yeah, but ppl aren't prepared to pay for the figures that used to come with them. I mean just buying the games is 50€ the special edition now is 70€ but if they where to put in figures of high standard they would go up to around 100€ and ppl just don't want to pay that for a LE of a game. guess it's the recession thats causing it, I never buy special editions anymore, where I did do it once in a while a couple of years back.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 01:55 PM
Question is, how much will this be? The regular 60 dollars or a little more. Ahh! it doesn't matter , as this is Hitman we're talking about.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 01:56 PM
@5 The reason some people do not buy special editions because as soon as they finish the game they sell it or trade it. I buy special editions not all the time it depends what game it is, as i don't sell any of my games. As for the Hitman collection i was wondering when this was going to be officially announced, i'll probably pick this up.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 02:02 PM
@6 Probably $39.99 like most HD collections.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 02:28 PM
Never played Hitman, now i will before go play AbsolutionWednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 02:31 PM
Awesome, never got the chance to get into this series... I'll definitely pick this up.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 02:32 PM
Even though I got Hitman:Codename 47, Hitman 2:Silent Assassin and Blood Money free for PC on steam when I preordered the new Hitman, I will still purchase this for PS3 on release.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 03:11 PM
It will be $39.99, it's listed at Amazon.com.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 03:22 PM
Mr. Walker, Do you have any source?Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 03:24 PM
Day one buy for me!Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 03:32 PM
I've played only Absolution, so, this collection have ALL the previous games or is missing the first one? (not so sure about the chronology tho)Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 03:36 PM
I only buy special editions if a) they cost the same amount of money (read: Dark Souls) b) you get substantial DLC add-ons (Borderlands 2) or c) they don't come with some hokey action figure or replica weapon unless it's the Vault Boy bobble head I have on my work desk.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 04:57 PM
@15 Its has all the PS2 games. Its missing the first game because its was PC only. And Contract, since its mostly flashback missions, you relive remade missions of the first game.Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 05:06 PM
Old games were brutal.......Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 05:43 PM
hmm an art book isn't enough of a draw for me, i'll just get the regular versionWednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 06:23 PM
If it comes with a steel case I'll get the special edition, if not the regular will do :D Don't buy many games on day of release but this will be the first in the past few years!Thursday, December 13, 2012 @ 12:46 AM
Love it. Glad this is coming so soon!Thursday, December 13, 2012 @ 09:32 AM

If you've been enjoying Agent 47's latest killing spree with Hitman: Absolution, then you're in for a treat with the Hitman HD Collection, which will be coming to PlayStation 3 in January 2013. Furthermore, the three bundled Hitman classics will be remastered and offered up as a Premium Edition with the usual collectible bonus.
In this particular case, it's an art book that collects some of the tastiest reinterpreted art nuggets from the HD trilogy, which consists of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money. All three games are shoved into one swanky package, with the Premium Edition including the exclusive art book.
Furthermore, the collection has some rather spiffy cover art, which may or may not be exclusive to the Premium Edition. We're not sure. What we are sure of, is that Hitman HD Trilogy is coming in January 2013, which is marvellous news. You can check out the trophies for Hitman 2, Contracts and Blood Money via the links.
