Assassin's Creed III is the fastest-selling game in Ubisoft history, the studio has announced today, selling 7 million copies worldwide in a month following its global launch on October 31st. In that time, more than 82 centuries of gameplay have been recorded in single-player alone, with 3 billion assassinations being committed.

In multiplayer modes meanwhile, more than twice the number of players are playing in comparison to Assassin's Creed: Revelations' community, with more than 250 million assassinations being performed across over 5 billion multiplayer sessions. Wowzers.

“We are delighted with the performance of Assassin’s Creed III this Christmas,” said Rob Cooper, Ubisoft's UK Managing Director. “This is a beautiful and epic game of exceptional quality and we’re pleased that our fans have responded so well to the brand new universe, storyline and game experience.”

Assassin's Creed III has been given a recent bit of DLC with The Hidden Secrets Pack, which is available now for $4.99, or with the Season Pass for $29.99

@7 really I only encountered one glitch in the whole game and one small one of a character being stuck in a building. it was of high quality for me.

@4 no you can't the more the better, each game was amazing, great characters (conner was my least fave, but still liked him over all.) great story and just fun, not to mention the naval battles where great.
I hope they release another one in 2013.

Glad to hear that it is selling so well ^_^
