As the Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch demo hits PSN, Namco Bandai has also released the first part in a series of Behind the Scenes trailers for the Studio Ghibli and Level-5 collaboration, offering some insight into the RPG.

There's contributions from Level-5 CEO, Akihiro Hino, who's also the game's supervisor, planner and story writer, and a tour of the Ni no Kuni studio whose other projects include the massive Dragon Quest series.

Taking you into the motion capture studio and around other parts of the studio, the video shows a little bit of what happens at Level-5. Check out the vid to whet your appetite for Ni no Kuni: The Wrath of the White Witch on January 22nd, 2013 in North America and January 25th, 2013 in Europe. You can download the demo from the PSN now.

If you play the demo again, say, with oliver battling the guardian of the woods, you can beat him quickly and move on into an open world area where you find Ding Dong Dell. I played last night and it took a while to beat him with my little familiar, but this time around I found that there's more to the demo than just the battle.

still can't fully support this game while NB chooses to screw up the AC series with it's ports. they could make so much money if they gave it proper support instead of shooting themselves on the foot and then saying it's the games fault. (sorry for the mini rant)

it certainly looks interesting though

Hm ... I was somewhat disappointed by the lack of character detail in the demo. Game seems to be fine otherwise, though, if a bit old-fashioned. (Which is not necessarily a bad thing at all.)

Oh, forgot, does anyone know how the game is called originally? I was wondering, because the way they translated it here it says "curse of the white queen" while the english title is "wrath of the white witch" ... ???
