Guillermo del Toro's inSANE Could be Back On According to Rumours

It looks like Guillermo del Toro's InSANE might be getting a lifeline after THQ canned the projected trilogy back in August, as the Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy director has apparently been shopping the game around to other developers.

In development at Saints Row and Red Faction developer Volition, inSANE was set to be a horror trilogy, and a report on BloodyDisgusting.com suggests that the first studio del Toro pitched the project to accepted and greenlit it.

Could inSANE be back on the cards then? These early indications certainly look good, it must be said. Yet, there's nothing official for now.

  • Hope it is back on track it could be a great game.
  • Got this on my wishlist and when I heard it was cancelled, I never cancelled it. Hope it's back on track and still hoping to see it one day.
  • neva heard of this game before.
  • What is this game about? I love almost everything Del Toro does but I have no clue about this game.
  • Nobody really knows what this game is about. All that's been released promotion-wise is that video posted in the article. It was shown at E3... 2010? I think. Maybe 2011.
  • I'm a big fan of the Red Faction series, so if Volition is really making this game then it should be good.
