The latest developer diary for Ninja Theory's DmC: Devil May Cry has surfaced today, introducing the larynx behind Dante himself, a voice actor fella called Tim Phillipps and the voice of a character named Phineas, Lou Beatty Jr.

In the new video, both actors have a bit of an old chinwag about their respective roles, with some new game footage mixed in, alongside a little look at the motion-capture work each actor has performed for the characters.

It's all interesting stuff, and well worth a watch if you've got a few minutes to spare. You've got a few minutes, ain't 'cha? Sure you have. Watch the vid. DmC is out on January 15th, 2013. Wanna try it out? Download the demo.

This behind the scenes look makes me wonder if the developers told Dante's voice actor that they changed the idea of a prequel to a remake.

What's up with British actors starring in a role having to use a American accent? I mean this guy is cool and all but you have to realize that.

The Demo was terrible. No Lock-On or nothing. I see DMC getting a 7.5/10. I really hated the reboot. New Dante looks Emu. I won't be buying this piece of crap just like RE 6. Capcom is slipping.

#2 The voice actor isn't British or putting on an american accent, he is Australian, hence the Australian accent.

I'm not really a huge fan of the devil may cry series because there are better alternatives in the genre, but i may pick this up anyway if i have the money.

#4 My bad about his accent. British and Australian accents are quite similar
