will the save file from the retail games work on the digital versions?Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 01:08 PM
Finally...Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 01:08 PM
#1 They should, because there are no GOTY editions so far.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 01:11 PM
And this is why I'm getting a Vita this week!Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 01:35 PM
still no good free ps3 games we got lucky with re5 gold but before that we got crap since the game release (not counting borderlands) while EU got dead space deus ex resident evil darksiders 1 i mean really vita is to new to be getting free games how about doing something for the USMonday, November 19, 2012 @ 01:36 PM
also we already got sonic 1 and 2 free last summer and how come vita get jet set while ps3 does not......Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 01:37 PM
Yay, free Sonic, again... I don't own a vita or much plan to get one in the near future but I have been a plus subscriber since it became a service, and while it's nice that they're offering vita title's now; it does nothing for folks like me who do not own one, nor wish to be persuaded into spending money on one.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 01:38 PM
We got Sonic and Sonic 2 before.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 01:42 PM
#1 yes on ps3 but not on vita, that could change with vita 2.00 update.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:18 PM
Very nice!Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:19 PM
Wow, Sony is stepping their game up fast with PS+. I just got a year subscription for $35, can't wait until I get my $200 PS Vita to play all these games. I'll probably need to pick up another memory card at this rate, just need to wait for another Vita accessories sale. The Music Unlimited at $12 is also tempting, very tempting.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:19 PM
WOW, vita update is a LOT better then I was expecting:D sure hope we get the same games on the EU update though:PMonday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:22 PM
Wow. I hope us Europeans get the same awesome treatment! Thanks Sony!Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:37 PM
any idea how long this instant vita game collection will go on for?? I don't have a vita and good chances not for a couple of months...Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:41 PM
@1 You might be better off asking that question on official Playstation forum. @3 Weather there is a GOTY of a game out won't mean it will, Infamous retail save on PS3 never worked on digital version of the game and there was no GOTY edition of that.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:43 PM
@13 No we don't, have a look on playstation blog, they had the Vita games listed last week.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:44 PM
@5 Punctuation. It DOES matter.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:45 PM
US Store gets free PS Vita games... and EU can't even get CS:GO...Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:51 PM
wow. PS+ is good now plus getting more free games is amazing. ( i dont even have one but im happy for the people who do). this is why i have and will continue to support sonyMonday, November 19, 2012 @ 02:52 PM
@14 If you have Plus you can add free vita games to your download list on ps3 and then download them later on vita even though the games collection change.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 03:11 PM
@20 will that work with just ps3 games?Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 03:15 PM
@4 Me too! I'm really excited about Dungeon Defenders as well as I had wanted to get that but tend to not purchase games from PSN very often. So quite excited to get it through PS+Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 03:16 PM
Sony is awesome, Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 03:19 PM
@21 it works with everything. all you have to do is click on whatever game to download and it will add it to your download list. it will then remain on your download list forever. just to be sure, if its a game you might play in the future or a vita game that you'll play 3 months down the line when you eventually get one or whatever, just start the download to guarantee it is added to your download list then go to download management and cancel download. that way it is on your list for when you do want to play it. the only time anything from ps+ disappears off your list is when your subscription ends. but the moment you renew said subscription, everything pops back up on your list.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 04:08 PM
Why you guys are complaining i have no idea! I have every one of those games and this is still fricking amazing! Gravity rush, and uncharted i would give 5/5 stars, plus for all of us trophy whores out there, can you say easy platinum? All i know is, this is a great first batch and keep them coming! Oh and "It only does everything."Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 04:10 PM
Oh and @5 is just mad he doesnt have a vita.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 04:18 PM
@11 35 for a year? i want that dealMonday, November 19, 2012 @ 04:20 PM
I sincerely hope this comes to the EU some time soon, I'm planning on getting a vita for xmas and all these free games would be amazing to have from the start!Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 04:59 PM
Does anyone know if the Music Unlimited service is any good? Do you download songs to keep, or is it streaming radio like Pandora?Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 05:23 PM
Wait, PS Plus will be for 12€?Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 05:32 PM
@24 thanks for explaining itMonday, November 19, 2012 @ 07:03 PM
Get on the Vita bandwagon, the value of the free games is awesome. If you buy a Vita now, you may never have to buy games for it, as long as you don't blow through them.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 07:36 PM
For the EU folks the Vita IGC is a bit different - you still get Uncharted and Gravity Rush, plus Mutant Blobs, but in place of Jet Set Radio, you get Chronovolt (which looks really cool - I would probably take that over JSR...). No Wipeout 2048 though. But, you also get 20% off a shit-ton of other Vita games; Escape Plan Unit 13 Hustle Kings MotorStorm RC Super Stardust Delta and Advanced Star Fighter Pack Bundle Top Darts Little Deviants Modnation Racers: Road Trip Reality Fighters Full details here - http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2012/11/13/playstation-plus-for-ps-vita-launch-details-confirmed/ Now everyone get out and buy a Vita already!Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 07:41 PM
From: http://playstation.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4685/kw/4685 PlayStation Knowledge Center PlayStation Plus for PS Vita [PlayStation®Vita] Updated 11/16/2012 We are pleased to announce that PlayStation Plus will be coming to PS Vita on November 20th 2012 via firmware update 2.0. If you are already a PlayStation Plus member on the PS3, you will automatically be able to enjoy the PlayStation Plus features for your PS Vita at no extra cost. PlayStation Plus features for PS Vita available on November 20th 2012 will include: Instant Game Collection: Unlimited access to a regularly refreshed selection of the full versions of games as long as your membership is active. Discounts: Take advantage of exclusive discounts on games and DLC for your PS Vita. Online Game Storage: An additional 1GB of online storage for game saves for PS Vita games and downloaded content. Automatic Updates: PS Vita will automatically start up at a designated time to download and install select game demos and game updates as well as system software updates and start standby mode upon completion. Automatic Trophy sync: Trophy information will be synched to PSN servers automatically via the PS Vita. FAQ Q: I’m already a PS3 Plus member. Do I need to buy a separate membership to get Plus on PS Vita? A: We’re happy to say that it’s one Plus membership to access all Plus benefits across these two devices. It’s not simply an introductory offer, it’s the way it is as far as Plus access on both PS Vita and PS3. Q: Will there be more PSP, PS mini, PS one Classic games offered for the PS Vita Instant Game Collection? A: We’ll be looking at what the best mix of game content type is going forward. For now, we’ve decided to focus mostly on PS Vita exclusive game content, with a dash of PSP content. But this can change at any time. Q: What mode does my PS Vita need to be in for it to auto-update at the time I’ve designated that to occur? A: Your PS Vita needs to be in Sleep Mode. It must not be powered off, but can’t be in gameplay or in use as well for the auto update to occur. Q: I’m just downloaded the digital version of a game I had in physical format but I can’t seem to access my game save from the game. How do I access my save content? A: Some games may require the game card inserted into the PS Vita to access the save data. However, as a Plus member, you can upload that game save data to the Online Game Save area. Then re-download it to your PS Vita. From there you should be able to access that save data from the digital version of the game. Q: Will I be able to upload PS one Classics, PSP Game, and PS mini save game data to the Cloud Storage? A: This service is only for PS Vita Game Save Data. Other game types that may be playable on PS Vita cannot be uploaded to the Cloud Storage. Q: Is the 1GB Cloud Storage for PS Vita games shared with the 1GB for my PS3 Games? A: The 1GB Cloud Storage for PS Vita is exclusive to the PS Vita and not shared with the PS3. So upload away with confidence that it won’t affect save space for your PS3 games. Q: If I have a PS3, but don’t have a PS Vita yet, can I download the PS Vita IGC content to my PS3, and then play it later when I get my PS Vita? A: Yes. As long as you’re a Plus member, you’ll be able to access downloaded PS Vita content on your PS3 when you get a PS Vita. Make sure you select “Download” from the PlayStation Store, and it will also be available to you to download in the future if you’re concerned about HDD space on your PS3. Q: If a PSone Classic or PS mini is ever released free for Plus members in the future, does this mean it will work for PS3 Plus members as well? A: Yes. If the content is playable on both systems, and is free for Plus members, all Plus members will be able to enjoy it on the console of their choice. Q: With all the new content, will the PS Vita be updated to hold more ‘screens’ of content? Currently I can only create ‘X’ number of pages to hold the ‘bubbles’. A: This is something we are aware of, but there is no change to the max number of pages you can create on PS Vita at this time.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 08:56 PM
Brill. Was about to buy Gravity Rush. Glad I held off.Monday, November 19, 2012 @ 09:35 PM
@29 Music Unlimited is a decent service. Like anything it has its pros and cons. You can't download any songs, it's strictly a streaming service.Tuesday, November 20, 2012 @ 02:55 AM
Serious, those are like the 3 best Vita games right there. Good choice by Sony surely, escape plan would have just polished it off.Tuesday, November 20, 2012 @ 04:40 AM
rejoice vita owners (with PS+) i have every game but these in collection, heck ninja gaiden is untouched & mod nation is 1/2 done. but options are greatTuesday, November 20, 2012 @ 04:43 AM
At the risk of being voted down like 5... Everything I seen on psn+ is crap, most of the game I seen, US or PAL stores, I already have or do not interest me at all... All I got from the free 1 month trial are a bunch of avatars I'll never use, back when psn+ first came around and I got those sonic games yeah that was good...but now it's just...meh. ...I also don't have a vita and unless something that interest me such as resident evil or something comes out, I'll stick to my ds, derp.Tuesday, November 20, 2012 @ 05:18 AM
I hate the fact that I have a US account for PS+ and an Aussie account for trophies, now that the Vita is out.. I hope they add the ability to have 2 account on a Vita, or the option to buy PS+ for a Vita only for a cheaper price.
