Q – If I bought a Call of Duty Elite Premium membership recently, will I get Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC? A – Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC is not included in the Call of Duty: MW3 Season of Content membership. We’ll be releasing new details soon. - - - Activision what else.. they only see money.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 06:47 AM
i want to know if your subscription ends do you keep the maps or do they block them till you subscribe again ?Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 06:57 AM
@#3 They better not, I will quit playing CoD all together if they do.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 06:59 AM
if they let you keep the maps who in their right mind would pay another £40 for elite for another year just for the clan ops. but if they take the maps off you after your subscription ends who's going to want to buy elite on black ops 2 if they know they wil lose their maps after a year.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 07:19 AM
Everybody should go check their subscription renewals through the XMB and switch off the auto-renewal from the Elite service... before you get charged another £50 via your PSN account automatically!Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 07:51 AM
you still will keep what you paid for. With the elite you basically paid for it up front they said this when they first released it. Plus why would it carry over they are 2 different companies.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 07:51 AM
I'm glad Battlefield Premium was a one time fee not a subscription. It made it so much easier to explain to people as opposed to an Elite Subscription that ends and renews under each game term/1 year.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 07:56 AM
@8 only reason cod is a subscription is due to the fact there is clan challengesTuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 08:29 AM
if I cancel my elite but don't download the last dlc drop before I do cancel, can I still download it at a later date as I basically paid for it?Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 09:11 AM
Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC is not included in the Call of Duty: MW3 Season of Content membership Ok then Account Manegement > Transaction Management > Services List > COD Elite > Cancel Automatic Renewal. Then screw you Activision & Infinity WardTuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 09:14 AM
Hopefully this ridiculous service won't be featured in Black Ops II.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 09:31 AM
Its already been detailed>> Elite will go into Black Ops 2 , clans will carry over,Clans will increase from LV50-100, unused DBL xp in clans will transfer. TREARK will do a new version of ELITE though . NOW ,, stop the crying. if you dont like it dont buy it , just look the other way.Black ops 2 doesnt need any dumb ass comments.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 09:42 AM
@13 Typical COD fanboy, would rather take it up the ass from IW/Activision than see how money hungry they are and just go on to say 'don't like, don't buy'. You probably thumbed up your own comment too.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 09:55 AM
This is the reason I have stopped buying COD games. I thought it was a travesty that they charged you £40 for a MW2 reskin but charging another £40 on top for 1 year of DLC. In these hard times I am having to be a bit pickier over what games to buy and Activision has made it a bit easier for me.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 10:23 AM
So can i still buy Elite Premium for MW3? I want all spec ops missions so i can get the trophies but the content collections are €15 each in ps store. And how much costs Elite for 1 year?Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 10:31 AM
Elite and charging too much for just maps is why I stopped buying COD all together.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 12:25 PM
yay its fun to see the cod fanboys get screwed over LOLTuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 01:03 PM
Bought every COD to date, but won't be getting Black Ops 2 - Not really liked a COD game since COD 4 and Elite has now put me right off the series. Hopefully CSGO might actually have made an appearance on the store by the time Black Ops 2 is out and I can get my FPS kicks on that.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 01:06 PM
It's not Infinity Ward, it's Activision... I'm sure it's not only me that's wondered this but look: Q: Can I link more than one game system to my Elite account? A:You can link one account per platform to your Call of Duty ELITE account. However, similar to DLC today, your Call of Duty ELITE Premium membership is platform-specific. If you play on multiple platforms and want all the premium features and content you will need to purchase Call of Duty ELITE for each. In short, I, along with a lot of people here, hate Activision, it's Guitar Hero all over again...Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:01 PM
Q – If I bought a Call of Duty Elite Premium membership recently, will I get Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC? A – Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC is not included in the Call of Duty: MW3 Season of Content membership. Funny - I thought it was named Call of Duty: Elite Premium, not Call of Duty: MW3 Season of Content membership! Glad I didn't buy this scam.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:36 PM
If any MW3 Premium member doesn't get at least a discount for B.O 2 then I would seriously be pissedTuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 06:14 PM
@1 At least they are being honest about it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's season of content provided by the Call of Duty: Elite Premium service is ending, prompting Activision to post a quick FAQ on the Call of Duty MW3 Community page, addressing the termination of subscriptions and the availability of MW3's DLC.
While the MW3 season of content is drawing to a close, Activision notes in the FAQ that it'll be "releasing new details soon" regarding Black Ops II's DLC, which could potentially mean that Treyarch's game might be receiving a similar Elite treatment where its add-on content is concerned.
Here's the FAQ regarding the end of the Call of Duty: Elite Premium membership subscriptions:
Q – Why are you ceasing sales of new Call of Duty Elite Premium membership subscriptions now?
A – Call of Duty: MW3 Content Collection #4: Final Assault marks the final content release and the end of the Call of Duty: MW3 Season of Content for Call of Duty Elite Premium memberships.
Q – What happens if I bought a Call of Duty Elite Premium membership recently? Will I still get a year of Call of Duty Elite Premium services and all Call of Duty: MW3 DLC?
A – Yes, Call of Duty Elite Premium members will continue to enjoy all the Call of Duty: MW3 DLC and the full range of Call of Duty Elite Premium services and operations for Call of Duty: MW3 through the terms of their subscription.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is out on November 13th.
