I'd like Vice City instead...Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 04:25 AM
So buy the delay to this we should get San Andreas in about 2016.lolTuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 04:43 AM
This is going to be fucking sweet. I'm excited to be listening to some Chatterbox on my PS3 :pTuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 04:49 AM
the thing is you wait so long for a game to come out that when it is actually out you have lost the will to download or even play it, better still because we have waited so long why could they of not used that time to add hd and trophies?Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:04 AM
Beeing honest i prefer a HD edition, i have all the originals games in PS2, also since this games are old you can find them very cheap (less than $10) and plus you have the case, the manual (that looks original and awesome) and the sweet city map/poster, meanwhile the digitals version are... well... digitals... (and take space in the HDD) I don't know what is the point to bring them as PS2 classics but... ohhh well...Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:08 AM
What does the HK PSN store say about CS:GO? :PTuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:18 AM
@6 Just checked for you, it says "Stop being a whinging bitch, you'll get it when it's ready" :PTuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:28 AM
@7 are you kidding me? CS GO is a really good game, and most of us have probably played the orginal, to say that we should stop whining for a game from a franchise that were probably fans from is stupid. I mean NA have it, and most of my psn friends therefore have it, and i want to play that withthem becauss of it. Plus i think we'd calm down if we atleast had an explaination why its past weeks since he offical release -.-Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:30 AM
will this be a psn classic? or is this coming with trophies?Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:37 AM
@9 It's a plain classic, no trophies and no HD upgrade. Still valid thou ;) (for a honest price eh)Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:38 AM
I'll replay the game in a couple years when they release an HD remake. I mean...some day, that'll be the case. I wonder if they have to re-license all the music again?Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:47 AM
No trophies no buy got loads of games with trophies 2 play atm 2 waste more time playing an old game i already own.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 06:49 AM
I don't get why people would get a standard release on the PSN if they could get the PS2 version WITH a disc, manual and case! It confuses me.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 07:42 AM
@13, Probably because they: 1. Don't have a (working) ps2. 2. Can't be bothered to change discs and prefer digital versions. 3. Like to support R* to continue making games and/or want to have the copy of the same game everywhere. 4. Their ps3 do not read ps2 discs. Only those few things:)Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 08:15 AM
PS3 haven't read PS2/PS1 for a long time, didn't you get the email from Sony saying thats why we stop making PS3 with backwards capability so we can put on the PSN and overprice people for a game thats over a decade old.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 08:16 AM
Great game, but as I still have it on PS2 I won't be paying for it. Of course, if they were to add a little something new...Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 09:13 AM
No HD remake? No trophies? No buy! I'll just continue to play my PS2 copy, since it'll be exactly the same anyways. Such a waste...Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 09:23 AM
Can't wait.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 09:56 AM
September 25th? Nope. Too busy with Tokyo Jungle.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 10:11 AM
This is great news for those that no longer have this fantastic game. For me though, I can still play it on my PS2, so I guess I'm still waiting for the HD/trophy GTA Ultimate Collection.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 10:25 AM
#8 Why don't you just get CS:GO from the US PSN store and be done with it?Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 12:06 PM
any word if this is going to be playable on the PS Vita?Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 02:16 PM
Don't understand the point of a straight port with no new content at all. No HD and/or no trophies? Just a way to try to get your money.Tuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 02:32 PM
@17 @23. I agree with you i dont like this lazy PS2 classics port. stick to the PS2 discTuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 05:34 PM
@23 took the exact words out of my mouth it doesn't make sense on the delay since its a straight port sure licensing etc but that should just be quickTuesday, September 18, 2012 @ 07:24 PM
rockstar have gone on record as saying they will never release GTA HD games, which clearly means they don't like making money, so they won't mind me NOT buying this then, seeing as i already own all the ps1 and ps2 GTAs on discThursday, September 20, 2012 @ 07:28 PM
Just need GTA San Andreas.

Grand Theft Auto III will finally be hitting the PlayStation Store next week, having been delayed due to issues surrounding the licensing of certain music in the game.
That's if a listing on Sony Hong Kong’s PlayStation website is to be believed, as it has Rockstar’s seminal PS2 crime classic down for release on the PSN on September 25th.
As VG247 notes, the Hong Kong PS Store normally matches western release dates, meaning that Grand Theft Auto III should be heading to the EU and US PSN on September 25th too. Rockstar has yet to offer up official confirmation, however.
