Warren Spector's career has been a long and storied one, from working on titles like Wing Commander and the Ultima series, to System Shock and Deus Ex. Consequently, Spector is one of the most venerable and respected figures in the games industry, with over two decades of experience working on video games.

Now, as VP & Creative Director at Disney Interactive studio Junction Point, Spector is hard at work spearheading the sequel to the previously Wii-exclusive Epic Mickey, which brings Mickey Mouse together with long-lost Disney character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit for a co-operative adventure.

We met up with Spector at Gamescom to talk all about Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, its co-op gameplay and its depth and consequence. Check out our interview below. Epic Mickey 2 is out on November 18th. Check out our hands-on preview here.

@1: He really seems to have hit a nerve with you with his comment on violence ...

Whatever. "Mickey an adventurous character" ... as far as I remember, isn't Mickey rather the detective/agent type of character in Mouseton? The adventure stuff is more the Ducks domain, I'd love to see games with them.
