PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale developer SuperBot Entertainment has revealed the two latest combatants to join the burgeoning roster for its chaotic arcade brawler during Comic-Con, presenting both Jak & Daxter and Cole MacGrath from the inFamous games.

Jak & Daxter are together as one character for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, utilising an array of weaponry from the series, including the Blaster, Needle Lazer, Gyro Burster and Mass Inverter. And as Jak is inspired by the version seen in Jak II and Jak 3, he's also able to unleash his Dark Jak and Light Jak powers, while Daxter provides support melee attacks.

Cole MacGrath will also put his powers to good use, using electrokinesis and cryokinesis against his opponents, making him a deadly fighter at close range or long range. Cole is a well-rounded fighter, who's also quick and able to propel himself into the action at speed.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is out on October 23rd in North America, releasing across Europe on October 24th, October 25th in Australia and New Zealand and finally, it'll arrive on October 26th in the UK and Ireland.

  • Well this for the 1st view, they won't get me buying this game, but form there to now they have leveled up in my rank of games. Here is my rank. 1 - Too expensive and I don't like it. 2 - Too expensive. (This is where they were in the 1st trailer they shown) 3 - Half. 4 - I want that game, but not in a rush. 5 - I HAVE TO PLAY IT!!!! But what about show the price in Portugal so I decide.
  • Good to hear, it's about time.
  • Needs more Snake, Crash and Spyro
  • I miss spyro from the original ones before they made it retarded
  • Well about time in hear some news "PlayStation" heroes to the rooster But i'm still losing the interest in this game (...i don't know why?)
  • These 2 characters were a given to be announced at comic-con. I'm glad to see 2 1st party chars be announced. They need to keep it coming. Old snake will be next followed by crash and spyro presumably. I just hope the game keeps adding chars through DLC. this type of game needs more than 25ish or so chars.
  • Just put Crash Bandicoot in the game, it make it so much better and a definite buy for me!, but No Crash i game means I NO BUY!!
  • Some classics would be nice. Crash Bandicoot Spyro That MedEvil guy Croc guy from Spyhon Filter
  • How many female characters does that make? One? Fat Princess...? >_>
  • @9 gabrial "gabe" logan is his name from syphon flter

  • great stuff. hope the next person they announce is Ratchet w/Clank.
  • Not to sound like a fanboy but these are the ionic characters announcements we need. I guarantee you though everyone online will be using those two...
  • I don't think the hip hop dog o the cat are gonna be any good.
  • File this one under the 'No Shit' column. I think we all knew they would be in the game. They should've announced them from the beginning.
  • @9 sir daniel fortesque from medievil i agree
  • @10 Don't worry, there's enough of her to count for three female characters.
  • @6 I lost interest when they described the gameplay. Chaotic and random is not how I like to play games.
  • I love the idea of this game but what really turns me off is the small roster of characters and the lack of the amazing graphics that some of those games like uncharted and god of war have.
  • is there a full roster of characters posted?
  • Two great choices, All stars is sounding better and better.
