Bethesda and Arkane have released a pair of new videos for Dishonored, showcasing the 'Golden Cat' mission shown behind closed doors at E3 earlier this month. With commentary from Co-Creative Directors Harvey Smith and Raphael Colantonio, each video shows two different playthroughs, each with different approaches.

In the first video, you'll be able to see how a stealthy approach plays out for 'The Golden Cat' mission, as Corvo quietly eliminates the aristocratic Pendleton Brothers. In the second video meanwhile, you can check out an all-out action-packed violent approach to the same mission, with Corvo getting to the corrupt brothers by leaving plenty of bodies in his wake.

You'll also see Corvo tackling patrolling Tallboys on the streets of Dunwall, in the so-called 'Flooded District' during the second video. Check out both gameplay vids below, then look out for Dishonored on October 9th in North America, October 11th in Australia and October 12th in Europe. You can also give our E3 2012 preview a read right here.

This looks awesome. I love the stealth approach video. The possibilities seem endless. I especially like what they said in the stealth video that no player can possess all powers simultaneously. Choosing the powers that seem to fit you best in this playthrough, picking another play style next time and trying out the other powers... Nice!

This is impressive. I had asked my girlfriend to get me this for Christmas, but it looks like I may just have to try find £40 and get it on release.
