EA has got its E3 press conference off to a flying start with a first official look at Dead Space 3 following a leak of almost every conceivable detail pertaining to the latest chapter in Isaac Clarke's saga. This time, you won't be facing the fear alone though, as he'll be joined by new co-op buddy, John Carver.
In the first gameplay video, Visceral Games showed Isaac and John tackling a huge drill, before the spindly Necromorph emerged to ruin their day. Dead Space 3 will feature drop-in and drop-out co-op for the first time in the series, and competitive multiplayer has been dropped.
Visceral and EA also announced a release window for Dead Space 3. It'll be arriving in February 2013. So, now you know.
