Answers on a postcard how this'll work. Flicking it with your wrist to shoot webs? Jumping at the screen? Punching? Flinging yourself towards a wall? Upcoming movie tie-in The Amazing Spider-Man is to feature PS Move support according to the game's cover art, spotted by iWaggle3D.

Beenox's PR Manager, Jonathan Grendon has since confirmed Move support for The Amazing Spider-Man, although there are currently no details on what form the game's Move compatibility will take and indeed how it'll work. We can only assume that it'll be the punching of bad guy's faces, unless you can stick to walls for real.

You'd better get practicing your best web-slinging routine then, because The Amazing Spider-Man and its PlayStation Move compatibility will be swinging its way to you on Jun 26th, 2012.

  • Nice Cover art, I don't have move though. Looking forward to this game.
  • Why does he have something on his arm for the web? are they doing this one by the book? (or comic in this case)
  • I really don't see why they feel the need to remake this so soon after Sam Raimi did it... Regardless, film games pretty much always suck, so I won't be buying it.
  • Only on PlayStation? That's news to me. Anyway, I agree with #3, game/film tie-ins are normally crap, and this film looks crap.
  • @2 Yes this movie he uses web cartridges like in the comic. @3 Because Spiderman 3 sucked.
  • I wonder how Move will work then... Also I think this will be cool, I know it's a movie tie-in, but so was Spiderman 2 and that game was amazing, this will apparently be even better with the free roam and stuff, lol. Another thing: Am I the only person looking forward to this film? (Despite not really liking the new costume, The hands and feet are off, and his waist line is gone)
  • if its anything like edge of time, i will pass.
  • @6 No, you are not the only one looking forward to this film. I'm excited about this and The Avengers movie as well. I agree, the costume is off and looks weird, but it's not a total deal breaker as far as going to see the movie when it comes out.
  • Go web, Go! *Violently shakes move controller* =)
  • @8 Yay someone else excited about the film! @9 I laughed :)
  • I think it'll be a great game but I still don't understand why they would make a remake with web-shooters and in the rest just have the web come out of his wrist. But I don't care I like how they are doing the old comic style.^-^
  • Wow all original bad guys are in the game and hopefully in the movie, I can't wait for the movie to come out!
  • saying spiderman 2 is a movie tie in game is like saying planet of the apes is a war movie
  • @3 Because money and more importantly licensing contracts force them to make X amount of movies/games for a certain IP or they lose all rights to it.
