Frank West can get his hands on another set of costume and weapon options from thr PlayStation Network this week, as the second Dead Rising 2: Off the Record downloadable skills pack gives you a variety of chef-based attacks and items, including nasty carving knife kills and other brutal moves.

With the Chef Skills Pack, you'll be able to transform West into a real meat man, with beefier attacks for the knife and cleaver weapons, more health gained from meats and more damage dealt with condiments like ketchup, mayo and mustard. Frank will also be able to make explosions bigger too. The Chef Skills Pack will add the following:

  • BBQ Chef Hat
  • BBQ Chef Face
  • BBQ Chef Apron
  • BBQ Chef Sandals

And will deliver the following bonuses:

  • Gain more health from grilled foods like BBQ chicken, ribs and hamburgers!
  • New attacks with the chef knife and meat cleaver!
  • Explosions are bigger!
  • Deadly attacks with ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard!

The Dead Rising 2: Off the Record Chef Skills Pack is available to download today in North America for $1.99 and will be available on the EU PSN tomorrow.

Cool...... if it had been in the full game. This content has obviously been cut to serve as DLC. Disgraceful.

Well even though this type of stuff should be on the disc. They are not forcing you to buy this. Hell for that matter don't even buy Dead rising 2 : off the record. No one way is going to make this sound good so whatever. As much shit as people give capcom at least they put games out. games that are fun.

this dlc sucks but don't say they are milking us just because they want a little more money i think most of you would make this as a dlc and maybe you would even put it at 3.99 or more. they do hard work too make these games.

"BBQ Chef Face"...which looks exactly like the normal face...

But I don't care, I'll buy it. I like this game and I support Capcom.

annoying to pay extra for costumes, when you have virualy paid for the same game twice, to start with.

I think DLC has the potential to be awesome, but not when you see that the DLC is in fact already in the game, and you have to pay for a key to just unlock it... But like I said, DLC has potential, kudos for Burnout paradise, Red Dead Red., Fallout 3 etc. This one feels like a quick cash-in, it doesn't broaden the experience much (it's rather kind of a mild cheat you pay for '-_-)
