With Bodycount now in stores across North America and heading to Europe on Friday, Codemasters has released the launch trailer for the game with shreddable cover, all-out action and bullets pouring out of both barrels.

Featuring intense firefights, overpowered weaponry and explosions all over the place, Bodycount is a no-nonsense shooter casting players in the role of a member of The Network, tasked with bringing down the mysterious Target.

Check out the trailer to get another look at Bodycount's ballstic action, before the game blasts through a wall this week. Bodycount is out now in North America and coming to Europe on September 2nd.

I was REALLY looking forward to this until I played the demo on my mate's eggbox last night... it was fun for about 30 seconds. Maybe the multiplayer will be better but as the US reviews average at about 5-6/10 I doubt it. It's a real shame, I thought Codies produced quality games...

The demo was convincing enough for me to say it wasn't satisfactory.
And I'm easy to please.

Rent the full game. IMO they picked about the shittiest level to demo. I've played thru the first 6 levels and the one in the demo is number 2; and it sucks. Once you get some better weapons and perks the game really opens up, for what it's worth. I purchased it because I'm hungry for good games and we're about to finally get some. It's also worth the $6 rental b/c the trophies pile up pretty quickly.

Well it's from the creative mind behind 'Black' on PS2 and I absolutely loved that game, it was probably one of the best shooters on PS2 other than the timeless classic which was 'Timesplitters Trilogy'. However I have not played this game yet, however I would be happy to play through it before Resistance 3 hits next week!

I just rented the game, it's not unplayable, but I'm not having much fun with it.

I've just played the demo and, like Black before it, it sucked badly. I was going to get this but it's boring as anything with more problems then I can remember.

The game looks nifty, and like it tries to set itself apart from all those other shooters, but I just don`t believe it`ll deliver enough SP content and a strong enough MP component, to warrant paying full price. A shame.
