It’s that time again folks. Gamescom 2011 is gearing up in Cologne and a veritable avalanche of trailers and screenshots have arrived. This is everything Capcom had to offer.
Asura’s Wrath
The planet-sized bosses and bonkers character-design of Asura’s Wrath continues to amuse. Here’s a trailer, some of which features our multi-armed hero unwinding in a hot tub. We spoil you, we really do.
There's ten new screens in the gallery too.
Steel Battalion: Heavy Amour
More alternate-future tank blasting from Steel Battalion. This time out, the Gamescom trailer gets all heavy and emotional, which seems a little silly considering it’s a game about walking tanks. But still, it’s got walking tanks! What more could you ask for?
Ultimate Marvel v Capcom 3
Nemesis T-Type gives Doctor Strange a good kicking in the new UMvC3 trailer. There’s a bunch of new screens for you also.
Street Fighter X Tekken
Not one, but two new trailers for SFXTK. One is from the perspective of the Street Fighter chaps, while the other is all about the Tekken peeps. Equality, that’s what we like to see. Seventeen new screens too.
DmC: Devil May Cry
Despite now being in the hands of British outfit Ninja Theory, DmC is looking resolutely Japanese, with more twirly weapon swipes and impossible enemy juggles than you can shake a scythe at. Looks better each time we see it, to be honest.
Four new screens in the gallery.
Dead Rising 2: Off The Record
Here’s a quirky new trailer for DR2: OTR, featuring Frank West as an inspirational salesman. It’s alright, though Uranus jokes stopped being funny in, like, 1978.
