New Bodycount Videos 'Kick the Ass Out of the World'

It's time to go 'behind the bullets' again, with a second Bodycount making of video, which this time focuses upon the game's world and the design work that's gone into crafting its environments. Travelling to Africa, Asia and then the Target's base, which is all sharp edges and neon tubing.

The video explores Bodycount's art direction and its class-based enemies, which include medics, scavengers, snipers and the fearsome Psycho Tank or Target Nemesis. Heading into "different territory", the team at Codemasters has brought new shredding tech to the table, so you can shoot through cover and lean from side-to-side.

“You feel like you’re really kicking the ass out of the world,” said Max Cant, Art Director. “There’s so much environmental destruction, you’re never going to get the same playthrough twice, each building will be different.”

Check out both the new behind the bullets video and a look at the music of Bodycount in the second trailer, then have a read of our latest hands-on preview, in which we head out to Asia. Bodycount is out on August 28th in North America and September 2nd in Europe.

I'm getting it. I think it'll prove worthy like Bulletstorm did. That game, IMO, proved a lot of people wrong.

saw something in that vid that looked a lot like a skillshot to me, feels like its trying to fit in somewhere between bulletstorm and brink, except bulletstorm was awesome and brink was just good... this looks nice, seems like these guys have done some good hard work on it, but could be set to fail for the absolute lack of its own identity, imo. fails to inspire that "must-buy" vibe.
