Well i am sure to get these 2 yeah!! RE4 looks HD worthy to me, but CVX looks like it came directly from the PS2 or dreamcast, not really HD in my eyes. Could be wrong ofcourse, maybe my eyes are bad. Anyway that does not spoil the fun for me. It's still awesomeWednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:01 PM
I don't get it, I already played RE4 on the Gamecube and beat it until I got everything... why would I buy this? They should definetly have new things instead of just an HD...Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:02 PM
Ada Wong looks HD sexy.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:03 PM
I am so happy that these are coming out. I will buy these first day! Idk why people would buy them on psn though. I prefer to have the disc. CVX is HD. If you compare it to the PS2 version, its more sharp. Not fuzzy. Its not the big of a deal.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:03 PM
glad these are coming seperate. Not interested in CNV.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:05 PM
@2 the only new things is that you get the PS2 exclusive content the gamecube version didnt have, maybe online mercenaries (i dont know yet), and the addition of trophies. Plus this game is awesome. I got everything too and i cant wait to do it again!Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:12 PM
Wish I could get this game but deaf gamers and video games without subtitle are no equal. If I get this game, I have no faintest idea what they talking about and story goes on while playing it. No worth. Sorry... I don't care if you give me some thumb down-- in facts you don't know everything about deaf world anyway. Have a good day.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:16 PM
Am i the only one that thinks those 2 games are a little over priced?? I mean, i think RE4 is worth that price, but if buyed this one, it will be the 3rd time already!. First in the gamecube, then thethe wii (wich by the way, i think is the best version on this game yet). About code veronica.... i like the games way back, bujt am not sure i would buy this one. Maybe i'll wait for a disccount.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:19 PM
I'm definitely getting RE4, might rent Code Veronica from Gamefly.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:21 PM
I am getting the RE4 hard copy. Still undecided with Code Veronica.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:28 PM
#7 SirSephiroth a bit of a chip on your shoulder. i have a deaf cousin and i'm well aware how shit things can be to have no sound. but it's never stopped her doing shit not once have i heard a bitch about a video game and yes she plays a few. and anyway who says no subs most games have them and dam sure resi is one of them. like there was a story anyway bunch of zombies kill them all enough said.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:30 PM
I can't believe they are doing separate discs, that's moronic. They better have ample numbers this time so they aren't so hard to find like the GCN games.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:35 PM
4 Looks better than ever but Veronica looks like it did when it came out and it also looks like they've done nothing about the iffy controls :(. I really hope 4 comes with Move support.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:41 PM
everyone who missed out on RES4 should definately buy this, it beats RES5 by far (except weapon-select & co-op)Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:48 PM
Screw digital downloads, long live retails and the RESI franchiseWednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:58 PM
RE 4 will get me pumped for RE 6 next year, can't wait to kill zombies or whatever they're as Leon again.( or look up ashley's skirt)....lolWednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 01:58 PM
I think $19.99 is too much. Probably should be closer to $14.99.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 02:15 PM
I've purchased Resident Evil 4 three times. Each time, they persuaded me with something new. The Gamecube version looked amazing and was rated really highly. The PS2 promised extra game modes. The Wii gave the game new controls. This version subtracts the motion controls but adds HD. That's not a worthy trade. Pass.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 02:16 PM
I hope these both have more imaginative trophies than the achievements listed for the 360 version. I also hope there's more than 12 trophies per game, too.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 02:55 PM
I will definitely get these. Nah there probably won't be more than 12 trophies since it is a old game just remastered.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 03:05 PM
I will be playin the shit out of RE4 once again as its the best in the series so far. I'll pass on RE:CV as I'm not interested in doing the tank controls again. RE4 spoiled us with an increadible new control scheme, keeping a creepy atmospher, and turning up the action as the old games controls are just....."old". I'm not turning back now. One more thing, be sure Capcom that we can move and shoot in the future. If I was being chased down by zombies or whatever I would be able to move when I shoot.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 03:06 PM
Damn, I forgot about the prisoner fight, that dude was pretty sick.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 03:37 PM
More interested in CV than RE4. I played RE4 to death on the Gamecube and I can not go through that long castle phase again in RE4.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 03:57 PM
@ #24 I played the Gamecube version, Wii version, and PS2 version of RE4 and I definitely agree with you, redoing that long castle phase isn't going to be that fun. lol I'm really hoping that RE4 incorporates the MOVE controls because A) my MOVE is collecting dust and B) the Wii version was the best because of the motion controls, really helped with the aiming.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 04:19 PM
@11, hell yeah there's a story. I get what your saying to sephroth...boo hoo i can't hear. half the time I wish I was deaf so I didn't have to listen to peoples bullshit or the garbage people now call "music". but there is a story. a damn good one too.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 04:43 PM
Would be cool indeed if they will add move support for RE 4. Would fit perfect with this game!Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 05:04 PM
I played this game fully over 30 times and never got tired of it so I will definitely enjoy the hell out of the hd version. SWEETWednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 05:22 PM
I've wracked up over 200hrs playing both the GameCube and Wii versions and loved virtually every moment (Professional mode was, and is, a pain in the neck) so I'll most likely get this.Wednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 05:36 PM
it better have move support for RE4, cause the wii version is the best one out there i find, graphics as good as PS2 (kinda) and better gunplayWednesday, July 27, 2011 @ 07:55 PM
I would probably buy a Move just for RE4, RE4 on the wii was awesome.Thursday, July 28, 2011 @ 02:08 AM
If it has a plat, I wouldn't mind hunting down all those little trophies. But if it's just 12 or so, I've played the game to death enough :P I get it, Capcom, You made a masterpiece. Yeesh. I don't have to buy it on every system... ... ... or do i?Thursday, July 28, 2011 @ 02:09 AM
I wish these were packed together but either way Im getting them both =) I say why not???Thursday, July 28, 2011 @ 05:57 AM
It just looks like they've used a smoother program to make the colours a little better and probably converted the sound to be a little better, CVX looks like its had the same treatment and for a start this is Capcom if they screwed owners of SF4 and MvC3 then they wont go out there way to make this the best it could be thats for sure. Capcom only has one thing in mind please the shareholders just like EA used to and now what Activision have been doing last 3-4 years. The price for this boxset is very good cant go wront really, should be go trophies to aim for too.Thursday, July 28, 2011 @ 10:52 AM
I'll buy it at a high price !!!Thursday, July 28, 2011 @ 04:39 PM
'£15.99/$19.99 in the shops or for download' Does this mean it will be coming out on disc?Thursday, July 28, 2011 @ 06:05 PM
^ im pretty sure it is! so excited!Thursday, July 28, 2011 @ 06:36 PM
I really hope they get rid of the castle tile puzzle game you do as Ashley. I HATE THAT SO FREAKIN MUCH!Saturday, July 30, 2011 @ 12:47 PM
@38: That puzzle is easy so I hope they keep it. @36: Of course that means it's retail as well!

Prepare to revisit two seminal survival horror titles as Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X shamble towards their September 2011 release simultaneously in retail stores and on the PlayStation Network. And wouldja believe it? Capcom has priced up both options today and they're both entirely reasonable for HD remakes of such great games.
Resident Evil 4 HD will be the first to arrive in stores and on the PlayStation Store for a price of £15.99/$19.99 in the shops or for download. It'll be available from September 20th in North America and Europe, with Resident Evil: Code Veronica X HD to follow the week after on September 27th in North America and Europe for the same price tag.
Both games include all of their bonus content too, with Code Veronica X being the definitive PS2 version of the Dreamcast title and Resident Evil 4 including the PS2 release's extras such as Ada Wong's 'Separate Ways' epilogue campaign.
There's gameplay trailers and new screens of both games to absorb too, as both Resident Evil 4 HD and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X head towards their respective September releases. There's five screens in each gallery and trailers to watch below. Check 'em out:
