It's no secret that BioShock Infinite blew our socks right off at E3 2011 with its fifteen minute demo. In fact, we'd even go as far to say that it was our best shooter of the show. Well, now you can see that very demo with your own eyeballs, as on Thursday, 7th July GT TV is showing the whole thing on Spike.

You can get the full skinny from Irrational Games' Ken Levine himself, who introduces a teaser of the first two minutes from the demo, which sees hero Booker DeWitt and damsel in distress Elizabeth browsing a gift shop in Columbia's Emporia district before an unwanted visitor turns up.

Check out the short teaser below, then look forward to seeing the E3 demo, full and uncut next week. Or you could read our extensive preview, which gives you the complete lowdown of the 15-minute segment with our thoughts. BioShock Infinite is scheduled to release in 2012.

I dont like how the player has a voice now saying something whenever interacting gets on your nerves.

*yawn* Just my opinion, but I just dont see this being as intense as Bioshock 1, daylight, bright cheerful colors, just doesnt do it for me in these types of games, I want nightfall, dark and gloomy, creepy sounds/music, I just dont get any of that from what I have seen of this game so far, which sucks cause I really like the Bioshock series.

@5... They did dark and gloomy with spooky sounds and shit in 1 & 2... Google the following words individualy: evolution, change & advancement.

They went with bright coloring for something different, something fresh. Not that there are many, but alot of the "fantasy shooters" (I.E. F.P.S. games that arent like COD, battlefield or medal of honour) are dark and gloomy and usually have an element of horror to them.

It's the same as your favourite band bringing out a new album and it's different than thier earlier stuff (Suicide Silence is an example that comes to mind for a lot of thier fans), a lot of people kick and scream about how "they've changed" and "the new sound is shit, it should have more [x] and more [y]"... But wouldn't it be insanely boring if the new album was written, recorded and engineered to sound the same as the one before??

When it comes out, give it a go (I'm sure you will anyway), you might even like it.

I think it looks amazing. I'm still curious as to whether or not it will have multiplayer. A lot of people disliked the MP in BioShock 2, but I thought it was really unique and entertaining. Definitely a nice change of pace from your typical FPS multiplayer.

@5 Every time they take a game known for its dark/gloomy effect and brightened it up, it suckes, need an example? Resident Evil 5, I have nothing against change, and I may try this game, but I just dont think its going to have that same creepy feel as Bioshock 1, I just dont see it.
