I Am Alive is the game that refuses to die, which is fitting. After repeated reports that the long-gestating Ubisoft project is still on the cards (ie. not dead), a rating from the Australian classification board has been spotted by PlayStation LifeStyle, proving yet again that the game is still alive.
While we're starting to lose count of how many times we've heard this 'I Am Alive is still alive' malarkey, this rating could suggest that the game is actually at Ubisoft Shanghai in a completed state, if it's been submitted for classification. Apparently, the game has been issued with a 15+ rating for "strong violence", indicating that an announcement could be imminent.
I Am Alive was originally unveiled at E3 2008 and casts the player in the role of a survivor caught in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake in Chicago. Could a 2012 release date for I Am Alive be a possibility? Yes, but then we've heard this all before, so we won't hold our breath. We don't suggest you hold your breath for i Am Alive any time soon too.
Here's the E3 2010 trailer again to remind you what the fuss is all about.
