With a trophy patch for the 1st??Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 07:50 AM
Yeah...Probably no patch. No sure what R1 & 2 are runnin' at in da' stores, but it seems like a good deal. Both a bit aged though...Plus, on the trophy side, the R2 10000 kill trophy is a PAIN.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 08:16 AM
I thought R1 was quality, sold it ages ago would be good to get it again. If theres trophies for R1 this would be worth a purchase.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 08:24 AM
No mention of trophies, so I'm not interested :(Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 08:26 AM
@4: Agreed, if there's trophies for R:FOM then I'm double dipping on this.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 08:30 AM
Lol, noones gonna buy this unless they're proper Resistance fans.....because alot of people get squeamish about the 10,000 kills trophy. Shame really, because this is a great bundle offer, and both games are excellent. Fun > Trophies.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 08:36 AM
@2 I sooooo hope so :0)Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 09:10 AM
Did Resistance 1 have MP?Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 09:16 AM

yh it didTuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 09:30 AM
@10: Thanks, it'd probably get online trophies then.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 10:00 AM
@11 RFoM was the launch shooter for the ps3 and was awesome, 2 was great but the control mechanics changed from the first one and really screwed up the game but was still really good. Would be awesome if they did put trophies in for #1, wont happen, but we could dream.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 11:15 AM
If they haven't patched in trophies by now, it's probably not gonna happen here. This is simply a repackaged value bundle, likely just including the Greatest Hits discs plus vouchers for the extra stuff. No trophies = no sale.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 11:17 AM
if there is a trophy patch for RFOM ill Buy like 6 copies of this dual PaCk no joke!!!!!!Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 11:29 AM
Trophies for Resistance! Please!Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 11:47 AM
this is pointless unless they added trophies to the first 1 then I'll drop the fucking 40 bucks then I'll sell that fucking bundle for the hell of it.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 12:40 PM
Resistance sux! just an under average FPS gameTuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 01:21 PM
R:FoM was released before trophy support was required on all PS3 games, so it stands to figure that if this is just R1&2 bundled together than we'll be getting exactly what we got in the first place (2 great games in my opinion). True though, the 10,000 kills is a pain. I got to about 7,000 legit before I really slowed my playing. I probably should try to finish it but eh.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 01:47 PM
I loved both these games but for different reasons. Resistance: FoM had an amazing single player experience, it was a dark and scary game, also had pretty fun multiplayer, very balanced for a game with so much variety. Resistance two was a little more colorful, personally I missed the darkness that the first one had, but the co-op game mode was tons of fun and if I remember right they had multiplayer with up to 64 players (is this correct?).Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 02:10 PM
@19 Cool story, bro. Luckily most people do not care about trophies, so this dual pack might sell pretty well. If I wasn't already a fan of the Resistance series, this would definitely catch my eye.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 02:38 PM
Both games are pretty decent, not amazing but still quite good. I would recommend this to someone who hasn't played them before.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 03:14 PM
trophies for R1 = me wanking for a week straight.... also if there servers get a boost in numbers :D:D:D:D:D:D:DTuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 04:21 PM
is there trophies? is there trophies? is there trophies? I only care about trophies! is there trophies??!!Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 07:35 PM
hmm ill have to get this pack with R3 when i get it so i have all 3 games and whats with all the bitching about the 10k kills in R2? that doesn't sound all that hard i have like 3k in MW2 and that only took me like 48-72 hours.Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 08:04 PM
I had Resistance 1 4 years ago, played it for countless hours and sold it a long time ago. Theres no need for me to get it again, since I doubt anyone still plays it online. Played Resistance 2 and beat it, didnt like the online though. I still have Resistance 2, so this greatist hits package is pretty useless to me.Wednesday, May 25, 2011 @ 12:40 AM
sounds good. i never played these yet and was gonna buy them but now im happy i waited.Wednesday, May 25, 2011 @ 05:25 AM
hmm thats all good but i own both of them already. trophies for resistance 1 would be kinda cool thoughTuesday, July 05, 2011 @ 01:57 PM
I got FOM when I got my first PS3 (along with AC and Madden 07). FOM and 2 I never finished the campaign though. I think on 2 I was on the last mission.

If by any chance you’ve missed out on playing both Resistance 1 and 2, and you really want to play them before Resistance 3 drops this September, then fear not.
Thanks to an insert packed inside the Blu-Ray version of Battle: Los Angeles, it appears your wish is about to come true. The flier advertises an upcoming “Resistance Greatest Hits Dual Pack,” which will include both versions of the game as well as a few extra goodies.
According to a stamp on the advert, the combo will include “$10 worth of bonus content and an exclusive Resistance 3 skin” and will be available this summer for $39.99.
There are no word on other regions outside the US getting this yet, so keep your ears to the ground.
