Yet another "Tales of" game that we probably won't get :( I'm a big fan of the series and have every one thats been released here but unfortunately it seems there are enough people out there like me buying them, cause Namco does NOT like to bring them out here.Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 10:44 AM

There are definitely enough people to make localization profitable. It might not sell millions of copies, but they would still turn a profit.Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 01:12 PM
I, very sadly, no longer care about this series. I know they will not come to US anymore and if they do they will be the poorly made ones like Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. Sad to see a great series die in the US for no reason.Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 01:41 PM
I love these types of games, i hope they release it overseas.Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 01:46 PM
Fantastic. It better come here.Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 02:49 PM
Based on the way it's written in Japanese, the title is actually pronounced "Ecks-eel-lia."Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 03:29 PM
@6 actually they will still take your money. Its region free so all you have to do is import it if they have engrish on it.Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 03:54 PM
The only thing from Namco/Bandai I'm waiting for is a new Katamari game, or at very least some DLC for Katamari Forever.Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 07:45 PM
i can hope that this will reach our shores but it probably wont :( although i did hear that tales of vesperia ps3 was getting an english dub (ill try and find the source and post it soon)Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 08:34 PM
I don't mind "anime" looking games. But the faces are always like a doll's. There is so little effort to draw expression from these characters. Even a cartoon's face will raise a lip or flare a nostril. But japanese video games are completely dependent on the quality of a voice actor to draw out emotional content. There's no comic exaggeration like traditional anime - it's very deconstructive. But the backgrounds look gorgeous, but I know this one factor is going to bother me. I think 'that' is a major reason why japanese games are getting less penitration these days in the American market.Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 09:37 PM
I really hope that this one actually comes here...I really want another fun Tales game to play...Thursday, December 16, 2010 @ 10:31 PM
Tales of Vesperia was a great game, I hope they bring this over to the States.Friday, December 17, 2010 @ 12:57 AM
@13 in Japanese its pronounced Ekushiria so far.Friday, December 17, 2010 @ 02:58 AM
@15 I think namco lost the rights for Katamari, the guy how made it left Namco a couple of mounths ago and started his own game studio. so it should come from his studio nowFriday, December 17, 2010 @ 07:33 AM
Knowing lolBamco this is never coming to the West.Friday, December 17, 2010 @ 09:05 AM
it takes a very long time for these types of games to be localized and NB is probably not looking to invest that time and money because they have a 'all us people in western civilization just want to shoot stuff' mentality.Friday, December 17, 2010 @ 10:04 AM
Can anyone tell us what the narrators are saying?Saturday, April 13, 2013 @ 07:27 AM

Namco Bandai has revealed that the latest 'Tales of' game is Tales of Xillia (presumably pronounced Zill-ee-a or Chill-ee-a) and is another lovely looking tale of magic and all of that good stuff.
According to Andriasang, Tales of Xillia is set to release at some point during 2011, with a theme song from Ayuma Hamasaki. Anana Inoki, who has previously worked on Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, and Naoto Miyadera whose previous credits include Tales of Symphonia and Of The Abyss will act as the game's directors.
There are no further details at present on Tales of Xillia, and no word on an international release yet. So, just watch the Japanese trailer to get a first glimpse of the game.
