As Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds edges ever closer to its impending February release date, we can expect to see a few more fighters being revealed, as there's at least eight more combatants to be added to the roster, which is supposed to be around 40-strong once Capcom has finished announcing characters.

As we've already seen, Street Fighter IV's Crimson Viper and occasional X-Men leader and the Black Panther's missus, Storm are the latest additions to the roster, but today sees the release of some more media showing the pair really letting loose, with Viper high-kicking and electrocuting, while Storm goes one better by filling the screen with lightning and other weather-based projectiles.

Check out the 21 new screens in the gallery and feast your eyes on two new character trailers demonstrating both characters' fighting prowess. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is due on February 15th, 2011 in North America, 18th, 2011 in the UK and Europe and February 17th, 2011 in Japan.

Pretty cool choice in characters, but I really wanna see somebody new to the fighting game genre from capcom like Hagger (final fight) and bass/protoman (megaman)

MODOK is officially confirmed. They clearly wanted at leats 1 new SF, so Viper couldn't have been replaced with the likes of Sagat or Akuma. Juri would have been fun but she'd have been similar to Ryu in some aspects, and the developers didn't want many clone characters.

I'll be pre-ordering this game but don't know whether to get it from the Capcom store or Gamestop. I geuss I'll go with the one with DLC characters.
