Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Hits The Road For Real

It doesn't always rain in the UK, honest. Although the roads in this Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 'Power Struggle' trailer shot on a closed-off British country lane are almost entirely wet and rain-slicked, so maybe it does always chuck it down here after all.

The live action trailer, created to promote the impending launch of Hot Pursuit later this month, pits urban music act, Roll Deep against Ben Collins, otherwise known as the man behind the helmet of Top Gear's The Stig. The video has Collins trying to escape in a Porsche GT3 from the Roll Deep crew, who are behind the wheel of a fully-armed Seacrest County police Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago.

Throughout the trailer, we see Roll Deep attempting to deploy traps to foil Collins, such as EMP and tyre spikes. Question is, can they catch him? Check out the video to find out and then look out for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, as it hits stores on November 16th in North America and November 19th in the UK and Europe.

I'm not sure who Roll Deep are, but I'm sure this game would shift the same amount of copies with or without this cheesy promo.

This games seems to have had little hype in the wave of the impending GT5, however I've seen a fantastic review which hails it as the spiritual sucessor to Burnout Paradise. Could be one for my Xmas list :)

The Video was good and a change of the old gameplay video trailers. You don't remember Roll deep from a few tracks form burnout paradise. I don't remember the name but I love the songs.

GT5 release will be announced after NFS:HP comes out or maybe the day of, to let hype come to NFS:HP before all of it transfers to the every so mysterious GT5. Now you have a release, now you don't. wallah

@8: LOL, I won't; as long as you don't do the same for us Yanks when we walk out of Walmart in our pajamas. ;)

And isn't the identity of The Stig supposed to be a secret?
