Square Enix has rolled out a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIV's upcoming patch 3.2, which will add all manner of new things to the MMO later this month. Among the additions will be new story content, further Hildibrand adventures (side quests) and a new Mentor System.

The Mentor System will enable high-level FF XIV players to coach newcomers in the ways of Eorzea, making getting into the game a slightly less daunting prospect. The upcoming story content, meanwhile, is a new Main Scenario called 'Gears of Change' as shown in the video below.

Patch 3.2 will also bring with it the Alexander: Midas Raid Dungeon, two additional dungeons to explore, the Dravania: Stone, Sky, Sea training ground, a new Tomestone and new Beast Tribe quests featuring the insect-like Gnath. You can get the full details over on the FF XIV website here.

Final Fantasy XIV's patch 3.2 will be coming to the game on 23rd February. Check out the video below and 10 new screenshots in the gallery for more.

FFXIV is one of the most amazing MMO games and I like it very much, its sad that we need to pay to play it.
I wish they would add a feature for ps players to be able to play it without a subscription like the Elder scrolls online.
I would be online a lot more continuing all kinds of advanture and farming stuff on this game but paying to play mmo its really disapointing for consoles. :(

@1 there's nothing wrong with its pay model that's a model all successful mmos use. The money is put to very good use and this game has been a resounding success since its 2.0 rebuild

@1 I understand where your coming from, but Final Fantasy 14 would not have all of these free dungeons, raids, story, and content, everything you have today for Free was paid for by the monthly fee. If it was free to play you would have had to wait for the next expansion to play all of them. That includes the free, Golden Saucer, chocobo racing and triple triad update. And the up coming Blitz Ball will most likely be free also.

FFXIV is hands down the best MMO out atm. And imo that's because it's a sub model. I personally think as soon as a game goes free to play it becomes complete shit pretty much. Rift is such a sad example of that. It was such a great game even far into the first expansion soon as it went F2P it pretty much went downhill fast.

@1 i understand but they roll content every 2 months and these patches are packed with thing to do because they get the money from the subscriptions to do them if you take a look at wow that is in decline atm you will see that you have to pay just for the privilage to play the same content most of the time for a year plus i have no problem to pay for a game if they are puting the money to good use like ff14 does
