That's nice of them. Hopefully most bugs will be fixed by Black Friday, when I plan to get this game on at least half off;-)Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 01:36 PM
Activision launches a rushed glitched filled game? shocking...Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 01:38 PM
#3 looks like it's the first time you witnessed an Activision game launch.Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 01:43 PM
#4 looks like you can't detect sarcasm lolFriday, October 02, 2015 @ 01:50 PM
Don't fix it. Just start marketing it as the new Goat Simulator, cause that's basically what it is: a glitch simulator.Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 02:22 PM
This never should have been released when it was. All I've heard is that it is a glitchy mess and isn't worth of the THPS name. What a disappointment; I was really looking forward to getting back into the THPS series again. Loved 1-4 back in the day.Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 02:23 PM
I'm actually enjoying the game still. It's not nearly as bad as the reviews make it seem.Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 03:10 PM
why should anyone in the right mind defend this gameFriday, October 02, 2015 @ 03:11 PM
I like how he just launches in the air like he's on a trampoline or a pogo stick. What a pile of garbage. Can't believe it costs $60 (for now anyways).Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 03:46 PM
to be far it looks like whoever is playing is trying to fall and glitch out. still makes no sense that there was an update bigger than the game itselfFriday, October 02, 2015 @ 03:55 PM
In this day and age, it still surprises me how many games are released in a state like this. Why doesn't someone answer for selling broken items like this? I'm an impatient person, but goddamn do I get tired of getting real hyped for a game, just to buy it and witness how broken or glitchy it is, and it always seems to take weeks and months (or in BF: Hardline's case, roughly half a year) to fix.Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 04:18 PM
Crazy how Activision bested both Blizzard and EA in releasing a bug-filled mess of a game at launch. Then again, Blizzard is merged with Activision so I guess it makes some sense.Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 04:59 PM
Activision was aware of the glitches the moment it went gold the fuckersFriday, October 02, 2015 @ 06:35 PM
It's time to boycot broken games guys!Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 06:55 PM
How? By recalling, refunding, another year in December, then give game for free? That's the only way I'd play this turd.Friday, October 02, 2015 @ 07:59 PM
fuck i get so amped for games only to have this happenFriday, October 02, 2015 @ 09:01 PM

Leave it to the English to keep it classy. That footage was such a damning testimony to the inept bungling of Activision. However, set to the classical music score, the video was hilarious. The gamer finally landed one trick at the end and does a fist pump. "Yes!"Monday, October 05, 2015 @ 08:15 AM

Following the launch of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 this week, Activision has said that it's aware of the numerous issues and glitches plaguing the game, and is working on addressing them. To that end, Activision is collaborating with developer Robomodo on improving THPS5, while there'll also be free content coming soon.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 apparently suffers from a whole litany of bugs, as well as various performance issues and problems with connectivity. Activision acknowledged this in a statement sent to Eurogamer.
"We are aware of the issues that players have experienced following the launch of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 and are working with the developer to address these so that we can continue to improve the gameplay experience for all of the Tony Hawk fans who have known and loved this franchise for more than 16 years," the statement reads.
Activision will be releasing two new stages and five bonus skaters for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 as a free content update, adding to the eight levels currently available in the game. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is out now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and will be heading to PS3 and Xbox 360 on 13th November.
