So, Jimmy was betrayed in the PS3-exclusive 'The Betrayal of Jimmy' DLC, which is pretty self-explanatory, and so next up is the opportunity to get some revenge for that very betrayal in 'Jimmy's Vendetta', coming to the PlayStation Store next week.
Bringing with it 30 new missions and leaderboard support, Jimmy's Vendetta takes the Mafia II experience in a more action-oriented direction, with baldy mobster Jimmy getting his hands properly dirty while cleaning up other people's messes.
Translation? Fast driving, Tommy-gun action aplenty and assassinations up the wazoo. As you progress, you'll encounter rival Italian and Irish gangsters, that Jimmy will no doubt be showing the business end of a pistol to. Powerslides, high-speed pursuits and shootouts will all add to your accumulative score, with multipliers and combos awarded for really skillful stuff. Like donuts and spinning mid-air John Woo-style gunplay moves. Or not.
Jimmy's Vendetta will be coming to the PlayStation Store on September 7th, 2010 for $9.99. Take a look at Mafia II's Kojak lookalike in action in the six new screens.
