BioWare has announced a new Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC slated for launch in September. Revealed during PAX Prime, the Dragon Age: Inquisition: Trespasser DLC will be the concluding chapter in the Inquisition saga, offering an epilogue story set two years after the end of the main game.

That means to play the Trespasser DLC you'll need to have a character you've completed the main storyline with, as you continue to head up the party responsible for saving the world when the world no longer needs to be saved. You'll meet and converse with old friends, decide the fate of the Inquisition and uncover a threat that "might just contain hints about the future of Thedas, too" says BioWar's Mike Laidlaw.

Dragon Age: Inquisition: Trespasser is out on 8th September, and will come alongside a new patch for PS4, Xbox One and PC that includes the Golden Nug to sync your collectibles across games once you've finished the game's story. To activate it, head to the Skyhold Undercroft post-game and interact with the Golden Nug statue.

  • Hopefully it's as large content wise as Awakening from the first game. From what I heard, the other two dlc are pretty shoddy
  • It sounds cool. I really hope it delivers!
  • Finally can stop wearing the ugly Skyhold uniform.
  • Wish they would have waited a month. MGSV coming out tomorrow will take up most of my time. Probably won't pick it up until mid September or later, but really intrigued. Loved Jaws, Descent was fun but not worth the price. Hopefully this one is.
  • 'Jaws of Hakkon' and 'The Descent' were decent pieces of content. I'm hoping this one is more of an expansion (similar to 'Awakening').
  • The patch is out already and the trophy list has been updated. This DLC has more trophies than Jaws of Hakkon and The Descent together. What bothers me is the description of some trophies, seems we have to play the the game from the beginning. I.e.“reach Skyhold at level 5 or less“...
