Batman: Arkham Origins developer WB Games Montreal is hiring for a new Unreal Engine 4-powered open-world project, according to listings on its job page. Apparently, the new title in question is also an entirely new intellectual property, the nature of which is currently unknown.
Roles WB Games Montreal is seeking include Game Designer, with the ideal candidate "responsible for designing and driving development of specific features or systems for an open-world action game." A Technical Director is also required, who will join the team "working on a new IP project for next generation platforms."
This Technical Director role will also help in "scripting languages and design tools of the Unreal Engine". This suggests that the developer's work on the Batman: Arkham games began and ended with Arkham Origins, which launched in 2013.
WB Games Montreal also enjoyed a welcome boost of $1.5 million from the government in October 2013, expanding the studio's headcount and tech. Hopefully, we'll have more on the studio's mysterious PlayStation 4 and Xbox One project soon.
