Ok, this is getting ridiculous.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 03:59 PM
Telltale are really stupid right now, they should make something new and fresh. What's next ? Pong by Telltale ?Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:06 PM
@1 My exact same thought when I read the headline.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:06 PM
@2 Eastenders by Telltale.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:12 PM
I have to agree with @1, this is getting silly they made a masterpiece with walking dead season 1, 2 was ok lacked the emotion of season 1. Game of thrones is bloody well done, shocking graphics but the game makes up for it. But really telltale your taking on so much right now, wish they would focus on getting the episodes right and out quickerThursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:14 PM
ROTF , pushing the bounderies of next gen console gaming to the limit !!! , here moo cows time for more milking !!! LOLThursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:17 PM
In my opinion they should try to put out the episodes a bit faster, and try to make them a bit longer. Not to mention they should try and make their engine a bit more fluid and stable (but I have to admit that The Wolf Among Us is a fairly good improvement over the first season of The Walking Dead). And to be honest, they should try to at least start to release them in a non episodic format. They should have some fund by now to be able to put out a game whole, and not in this annoying installment format.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:18 PM
@4, I'm actually surprised thats not a thing, XD. Like others have said, they are getting a bit big for themselves, TWD S1 was absolutely brilliant, S2 still good, but not quite able to mirror that perfect connection. With so many projects, they're gonna burn themselves out and water some down, this could be absolutely brilliant if done right, but it runs the risk of just being tacked on.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:34 PM
Releasing a game with far less content for a greater £€$.....yeah no thanksThursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:42 PM
Have to agree with others here they are taking on too much and GoT was good but for £6 an episode on PS4 they need to be working on improving the visuals or I will just be waiting for their stuff on PS+ sales.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:49 PM
TaleTall sure are Sharing their milk with just about everyone. What's next? CoD? WoW or maybe Assassins Creed?Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:50 PM
How many projects are they gonna do? Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, Borderlands, Games of Thrones, plus I remember reading once that they wanted to do a James Bond game.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:55 PM
I know we all think they should do something differet.. but admit it.. we all love the easy enjoyable plats :PThursday, December 18, 2014 @ 04:57 PM
I don't think it will be bad. I mean they are just expanding and their stuff or I guess their latest stuff from now and the past two years have been great. They really improved on what they used to do before. They are able to take something and make a good story out of it. This time I think they just want to expand different genres now. Something tells me this would be a great Rated E game for a younger audience which is something Telltale doesn't really do or at least looks like they have now. Even though it looks to be Rated E they could still create something good out of it.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 05:04 PM
I feel like they are really gonna shoot for a more comedic style of story with this oneThursday, December 18, 2014 @ 05:19 PM
What the fuck is this shit???Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 05:21 PM
So many projects at the same time wow ! I'm interested though... I want to see how it will look like.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 05:33 PM
@1 I agree @17 Yeah, I know. The quality has to be hurting some. I mean, TWD Season 2 wasn't as good as Season 1.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 05:48 PM
As long as I'm not waiting 3+ months for Game of Thrones and Borderlands, they can do whatever they want.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 05:53 PM
Why? Minecraft doesn't even remotely have a story.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 06:00 PM
Oh dear god....my love for Telltale (as much as I love minecraft) is just dwindling! There known for being gritty...but this is just....*sigh*Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 06:04 PM
Wow.....................Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 06:52 PM
I can not believe what I'm reading! LOLThursday, December 18, 2014 @ 06:57 PM
Can't wait :3Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 07:31 PM
gee why not have Twilight: A Telltale series for girls....Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 08:27 PM
This is a bridge too far as they're really spreading themselves far too thin now, especially when it takes up to 4 months for the latest episode in a series to be released. I don't know about anyone else but I'm getting bored with the concept of Episodic games as it has been done too death. I would much rather pay a tad more and get the entire game in one go, instead of waiting an entire year to get my Platinum/100% because of the trickle release of episodes.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 08:30 PM
Any chance we can get something like Sam and Max again where you actually have to use your brain a bit? I loved The Walking Dead, don't get me wrong, but everything else they're also doing is just narrative driven click the dialog choice to win too. What happened to having to figure shit out in these games? I miss that.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 08:43 PM
Just a thought, isn't Mohjong owned by MS now? Which presumably would make this X1 exclusive.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 08:57 PM
Here's Hoping for The Simpsons A Telltale Game Series, but lets be honest people game company's never listen look at lego we want The Simpsons Lego but do we have it yet nope :(Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 09:17 PM
@29 Microsoft wants money, and the best way to get money is to make your product available to everyone. Minecraft is huge, and it would be insane to not tap every market. And yes, they do it with other games too, most of their Xbox One exclusives are on PC or will be on PC.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 09:27 PM
Well, I like Minecraft and I like Telltale so its hard to complain.Thursday, December 18, 2014 @ 10:44 PM
Maybe they will make a flappy bird game nextThursday, December 18, 2014 @ 11:11 PM
I believe this is the first time I have ever actually laughed my ass off at an official announcement. XD In any case, Neptunia Chronicles when? One company loans their series out to too many fucking people for too many fucking spinoffs and one company releases too many fucking games at once. It's the perfect fit! :pThursday, December 18, 2014 @ 11:16 PM
Hate on me if you will but I see potential with this game. Minecraft itself doesn't have a story so I'm curious how they will use Steve and the elements of minecraft along with telltales amazing story telling to create an enjoyable game and hopefully a compelling story.Friday, December 19, 2014 @ 12:22 AM
Firefly: A Telltale Game SeriesFriday, December 19, 2014 @ 02:48 AM
I hope they do Tetris next. :)Friday, December 19, 2014 @ 05:28 AM
This actually made me laugh out loud. xDFriday, December 19, 2014 @ 05:28 AM
Never knowing what minecraft was until a year or so ago, haha. This is ridicolous. I don't get the whole pixelated game scene they are going with(yet so many damn people love it) lol. Anyway. Telltale should just stick with the current titles out and complete them first please!! Ps: after they're complete..an Uncharted wouldn't be a game, haha!Friday, December 19, 2014 @ 10:39 AM
A Firefly version would be amazing.

Minecraft is about to spread it wings, unshackling itself from the realm of building things out of blocks to weaving stories in an episodic adventure from Telltale Games called 'Minecraft: Story Mode'. In a collaboration with Mojang, Telltale will be taking on the gargantuan phenomenon for release in 2015.
An all-new narrative-driven game, Minecraft: Story Mode will take Telltale's storytelling know-how in creating an entirely original story that once again puts players' decisions in the spotlight. It won't be a Minecraft add-on, but an entirely separate product, mixing new characters with familiar Minecraft themes.
Minecraft: Story Mode joins new episodes for Game of Thrones and Tales From the Borderlands on Telltale Games' 2015 release slate, with the first episode due to premiere sometime in 2015 for PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles, PC, Mac, iOS and Android.
For the news in the form of a funky little adventure game, head over to Mojang's blog.
