Looks like we could be waiting even longer for Beyond Good & Evil 2 and that rumoured Prince of Persia title. But don’t give up hope that we’ll see them eventually.
Speaking to IGN at E3 2014, where both games were conspicuous by their absence, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said, “We are not going to stop those properties.”
“We are going to work on them. The teams are really looking at what we can come [up] with. I think you will really like what you see in the future. It could take some time to make sure we are really delivering what we want.”
Aside from the release of some concept art prior to E3, the last we heard regarding Beyond Good & Evil 2 was that it was "too challenging” for Xbox 360 and PS3.
Meanwhile, a new Prince of Persia title was recently rumoured to be in development using Ubisoft’s UbiArt Framework, the same tech used to make Rayman Legends, Child of Light and Valiant Hearts.
