E3 2014: Deus Ex Universe Logo Appears

Another game to tick off the list? A logo has appeared online for Deus Ex Universe, via an EU trademark database.

Deus Ex Universe was announced last year as "an ongoing, expanding and connected game world built across a generation of core games.” If the appearance of the logo means what we think it does, it could mean that we’ll be seeing the first game in this new initiative soon. Like E3 2014 soon.

Have a look at the logo below, then keep your fingers crossed that Deus Ex Universe pops up this week in LA.

Really hoping this is next-gen only and not another crappy mobile game.

"an ongoing, expanding and connected game world built across a generation of core games.”

That is the most letters I've ever seen used to spell 'microtransactions'

It remembers me of "zelda a link to the past" logo... actually 3 of it inscribed inside another bigger one...

@3 It's actually (the second or third iteration of) a Sierpinski Triangle, which is a fractal design that (when taken to infinity) has an infinite perimeter and zero area.

@4 Thank you for the name: i knew it's a fractal figure but didn't know it's named after Sierpinski.

Nonetheless in vg it was already used by another title and it was its logo too... Not the best choice, imo :p

As long as its not an MMO...Deus Ex is all about the story so I just don't think it'd work with MP. 2-4 player co-op maybe could work, but that's about it I think, and I'd rather not even have that.

@6 what do you think the word "universe" implies? MMO. Massive Multiplayer Online.
