We've always wanted to be Bruce Lee, but rather than adopting the Way of the Dragon, we chose to adopt the way of doughnuts and Jaffa Cakes instead. The closest we'll ever get to being Bruce Lee then, is in EA Sports UFC. He's available as a Day One pre-order bonus or unlockable by completing the game's career mode.

In the new video, there's testimony from UFC fighters and president Dana White about the influence of Bruce Lee on them and MMA as a whole, while Creative Director Bryan Hayes explains how important it's been to make playing as Bruce Lee feel as authentic as possible.

EA Sports UFC will be entering the Octagon on June 17th in North America and June 20th in Europe for PS4 and Xbox One. See more of Bruce Lee in EA Sports UFC in the new video below.

  • So excited for this game. EA MMA was underrated and Fight Night Champion was sublime. High hopes that this will be a hybrid of the best of both games, and then some.
  • EA MMA was not underrated. It sucked big time, especially compared to the THQ games. I highly doubt the UFC will let a bad game be released with their name on it. I think this will be good.
  • @3 Well I had both EA MMA and UFC Undisputed 3 and I definitely preferred EA MMA. It felt more realistic and the create-a-fighter was way better. UFC 3 was decent though, but neither game were outstanding if you ask me. Fight Night Champion was, and I expect EA UFC to be.
  • @2 I preferred the stand up in EA MMA to the UFC games, and they copied the EA submission system for Undisputed 3, so...agree to disagree I guess.
  • @nakedsnake I respect your opinion but it is wrong as much as I hate EA sometimes They put out the most realistic MMA game to date. As for me I'm excited to see what EA can do with the UFC tag
  • The biggest thing I hope for is that the stamina in this game doesn't feel like an arcade fighter. I have always turned the stamina to sim in my offline careers and fights and going online was frustrating to feel like you had unlimited stamina and people would just throw punch after punch rather than thinking about how to conserve your stamina and what strikes, transitions or submissions were smartest for the stamina available to you.
  • @6 it's difficult to balance realism and fun in a game like this, unfortunately. You have a point about the online, but then no one wants to play an MMA game and gas after throwing a couple of punches.
  • It's not about gassing after throwing a few punches its gassing when you throw wildly. its one thing to throw punches in bursts but those ppl who just spam are my biggest problem. When I play a game with a UFC title I expect real life realism not street fighter.
  • #8, the same can be said for absolutely any online sports game. I haven't played a single sports game online where players as I real ppl mostly haven't just used exploits or "cheese" Welcome to the online world, where most don't give a crap about not playing realistic, fairly or care they are making the games play nothing like what they are trying to simulate. Every major sporting game is plagued by the exact type of ppl yu just named, the other ufc game had these types of ppl, nhl does, nba2k does, fight nights online was completely ruined by cheesers or ppl that sure as hell must not know a thing about boxing, the show is plagued online by cheesers.....every sports game, heck every game when online is plagued by these types of ppl. This is why making friends with like minded gamers has become a must nowadays online. Playing randoms just makes most games inthis genre suck
  • The Bruce Lee face looks amazing, but his body looks way off.
  • @5 I dunno. I found it to be pretty awful. But different tastes I guess. Still have high hopes for this though.
