2K Games has announced that WWE 2K15 and NBA 2K15 are coming to PS4 and Xbox One in fiscal year 2015. Given past titles and their release dates, both are likely slated for launch around October 2014.

The 2K Sports titles were both confirmed during Take-Two's investor call last night, with the firm's president Karl Slatoff declaring the following: “During fiscal 2015, consumers can look forward to exciting next generation releases from our NBA 2K and WWE franchises as well as other unannounced titles that promise to raise the bar for excellence. We will have more to share about our titles throughout the next several months as we head into E3.”

Take-Two chairman and CEO Strauss Zelnick added that the WWE brand acquired from THQ has been a success. “Our WWE franchise has quickly proven to be a successful addition to our portfolio," he said. “Sales of WWE 2K14 have exceeded our expectations and the title is being supported with add-on content including a Season Pass featuring many of fan-favourite WWE superstars and legends. We believe there is a meaningful opportunity to grow this series by further leveraging 2K’s marketing power and development expertise.”

You can probably look forward to seeing both WWE 2K15 and NBA 2K15 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (and almost certainly PS3 and Xbox 360) later in 2014.

I also can't wait for the next WWE game. It should look and be a lot better on PS4 ! I heard they've been working on the game for a while. :)

With Cory Ledesma & Aubrey Sitterson out, I am expecting big improvements for the WWE games.

Not NHL, NFL 2k's hockey isn't around anymore because it has always been terrible. However they had the better football game but were just bought out (however that contract with madden is up I believe). With that being said I'm looking forward to the next WWE game to be on the PS4 hopefully they change a few things with the game. I would love to see it be more like No Mercy from the N64 days where you could go backstage whenever u want and all in falls count anywhere style matches.

I agree with Grimdaddy.

For me no wrestling game to this day has beaten WWF No Mercy/WWF Wrestlemania 2000 on the N64.

Whilst the games had horrible sound, the actual gameplay was superb. Not to fast and good command setups to utilize all your moves.

Also I want them to focus more on the created player. Give them a truly great career mode which offers a story for 3-5 in game years. I love wrestling games but I hate real life wrestlers. I can't watch it because its a load of arse, but the N64 games were incredible.

I really hope that they fix the little things that screw the game up. Attention not switching when you click, kick out meter not registering when you land in the kick out section. How about when your playing a royal rumble and your number doesn't pop after your eliminated....I can honestly make a decent little list of the minor problems with this game franchise that most likely will never be addressed with a patch to fix.

Would like to see the belts get some love in the next WWE game, tired of the wrestlers holding what looks like cardboard cut outs of the championship belts, give them some animation, make them move ect.
