  • Been looking at getting Killzone HD. This sale came just in time.
  • no DLC price drops on COD?
  • Hmm. I never really got into the Killzone series, maybe now is the time.
  • I was under the impression that it wasn't safe to go online with MW and MW2 following the 2011 PSN hack? I remember IW stating they couldn't "fix" them following the hack because they relied totally upon Sony's security and would have to be rebuilt from the ground up with third-party security (therefore it wasn't going to happen). Does anyone know different? Might have to jump back on MW3, I bought it with Elite so have all the DLC but got distracted by other games a few months later and didn't play half of it. Will get Killzone HD... can then give my mate his retail copy back, oops!
  • I highly recommend Killzone HD. I reckon my younger brother got it some time earlier in the year, or whenever it was released. A really exceptional revamp of the classic, as we have both the original and the HD version.
  • The CoD stuff isn't exactly what I would call "on sale"...
  • @1 - I'd recommend Killzone HD. It may not look like much but the gameplay's solid. Real oldschool.
  • So many deals, so little money :(
  • I assume a US sale is coming soon? I wonder if it will be the same content.
  • Been waiting for a KZ/KZ2 dlc sale for over a year. Will be sure to get both :)
  • @6: Everything is decently discounted. Not Activisions fault the initial prices little to do with retail reality, if it still sells like beer and pretzels on octoberfest.
  • lol infamous 2 is already in ps plus for free
  • @4 Your are probably right MW2 is not worth playing anymore due to those douchebags.I've been hacked twice on two different PS3s.
  • @11 I know, Sony have been generous to discount them, I'll be forever angry at Activision for their inflated prices for the CoD titles cause they are always ridiculous.
  • CODMW3 is on sale for $20 at TARGET.
  • God F@#king Damn it!!!!!!
  • Why not put a 10% sale on everything I mean everything for gods sake I would like to buy some DLC for some of my games but some of the prices are way over the top because some games DLC I want is from my back catalog of games
  • This month... not a good time to be a gamers wallet. first this and in 2 weeks the steam sale... Say goodbye to your dollars
  • @#18 Doesn't affect mine at all, don't want COD, Infamous, or Killzone....
  • @#5 "A really exceptional revamp of the classic" how exactly is the HD version exceptional? it looks and plays just as bad as the original ps2 release. story and characters are bad and the shooting mechanics are medicore at best.
  • @4 That would be a new low, seeing as it's their (IW's) code that is being altered by the hackers, not Sony's. The more honest reason why Activision doesn't put out patches to fix the old games is because it takes money and time, and they'd rather focus on the current CoD than fix old ones. All CoD games up to MW3 have modded lobbies, but it seems rare on MW3 and BO. As for MW2, WaW, and MW, they were heavy with modded lobbies, but it's almost impossible to find people playing them anymore.
  • @21 It also persuades MW2/MW/WaW owners to buy the newer CoDs.As much as I like CoD I really do hate Activision/IW sometimes.
  • Duno if this is the same with other stores but wi the AU store, only 2 of the KZ2 DLC packs is on sale and the 3 in one map pack has been completely removed from the store even though it was there last week. I hope they fix it because I've been waiting ages to get this DLC and ill be pissed if an update fail stops me from getting it :(
