The Cross-Controller Pack will be available today in the NTSC PSN Stores for $4.99 and tomorrow in PAL PSN Stores for €4.99. The DLC will require a Playstation Vita.

@2: So adding a new way to play a beloved game sucks because now your trophy list isn't perfect?

FYI to people that want to keep 100% and have no vita.. You only need 1 person in your pod to have the Vita.

@6 i have sort of OCD when it comes to completing the games i play. For Move pack i could borrow the peripherals from a relative, however i don't know anyone who has bought a Vita.
Thumb me down as much as you like, this is a trophy hunting website in the end. I seriousley care about 100%'ing my games, that's just my style of playing, i don't do it to show off, i do it because i want to.

@9 no, only need 1 vita/PS3/LBP2/Cross Control pack

LBP Vita has nothing to do with this.

LBPVita isn't required. You'll just have to go to Remote Play on the Vita, hit the "Cross Controller" icon on the Remote Play's Live Area screen and download the cross-controller application, which is 482 MB, I believe.

Most if not all seemingly don't need a vita since you can complete the levels with one person in your party. Only one that may be a problem is the hatching one.

Now I'm REALLY fucking glad I didn't buy a Move when it was on sale on Black Friday just to get 100% in this shit game. I feel bad for everyone who just lost their 100% because Sony is fucking shamelessly pushing its failed handheld so hard.

The amount of sad people complaining at this is just pathetic. I myself like to 100% trophy a game, but, dont be morons. If you all had vitas and didnt get trophies for this trophy pack, you'd be disappointed.
And again, who cares? I do like to 100% trophies/games yes, but the first thing I look at is the platinum trophy, not the number, espicially when I know you just may not be interested in the dlc or dont want it. People who buy dlc just for the sake of having a number next to a game seems pretty pathetic. The platinum I would look at as being sony's way of saying "This guy 100% this game, not counting dlc", which I find good.
I myself am looking forward to the dlc, and hoping it'll blow my mind, ha ha.

Yes I do find it annoying that there is DLC trophy pack planned that requires extra equipment that not everyone has. But I do understand the logic - twofold actually: try to bring players back into the game and also try to boost sales on said device by showcasing some new form of interaction the device can be used for. Me personally I was planning on buying a Vita eventually anyway so this doesnt break my heart. And honestly speaking if this works, key word IF, I can see this being an added feature to future games as well. So theres that to consider as well before completely criticizing the idea.

Don't get me worry i like the the PS Vita but the last time i checked LBP was a PS3 game, hence LBP on Vita. So they was really no need for the DLC on the PS3 to have cross-play, it's more likely if you own a Vita you'll also own a PS3, so if they want to do cross-play DLC it should be on the PS Vita only.

@11 Tell me if i'm missing the point, you still need a PSVita to download the app.

PS Sorry 4 the double post.

You're right. Spare a thought for the 5 people who actually wasted their money on a Vita.

@24 the Vita is actually really great. I've been playing it far more than the PS3 since I got it. Hell, I lay in bed at night and settle down with some pinball rather than getting in a mission on a game on PS3.

@24 I have two vitas personally and actually prefer it to my PS3 console. The vita is a good handheld and if it gets a good game background it could be the best handheld on the market in my opinion. Don't be a tool and talk about something you don't know what you are talking about cause you don't even own a vita you douche.

Heads up for those of you looking to download this who DO NOT own a Vita. I was unable to access any of the levels without connecting a Vita first! Was planning of playing the levels online with a friend who owns a Vita. Unless I missed something, I can't see any way to access the DLC!

I've got a VIta but I probably won't pick up LBP Vita for the sake of a trophy. I platted 1 and 2 and kinda feel like I've had my fill of LBP and left it at that. Generally I'm not fussed about

... (premature enter) not having 100% on games I've platted. I platted Uncharted 3 but don't intend to buy any of the DLC, so I'm at 51%. Doesn't worry me. Not going to spend money on games or DLC purely for the trophies.

Wow, first LBP 2 implements Move, then for LBP Karting the Move Racing Wheel, and now the PS Vita for it's own version AND LBP 2. Up next: a LBP FPS, with Sharpshooter support and SimulView 3D. I love how this game series takes advantage of almost everything the PS3 and PS Vita has to offer.

Well that's put me off buying LBP2, im like others on the thread that have OCD when it comes to trophies, was going to get this but not anymore, don't find the vita to be great value for money, remote play should be enabled on all games
