Show / Hide Guide Road Map

-Estimated trophy difficulty: 5/10
-Offline: 51
-Online: None
-Approximate time: 25-30 hours
-Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 2
-Glitched trophies: None
-Roadmap: I highly recommend the following route:

Step 1: Play through the game on normal attempting to get every trophy you can along the way (except the one that requires you to beat the game on hard). You should also follow a collectible guide on this run. Here is a nice one provided once again from our sister-site: Pretty much every boss has two trophies associated to them. So, keep this in mind. Don't worry too much because you can always go back with the level select to mop up any missed trophies. Also, if you want to check your progress with the various killing trophy requirements, there is stats screen in the pause menu. You will get many of these trophies during the natural course of the game. However, you may want to have a rough idea of what the trophies are so you can farm efficiently. If you complete the game on normal, do NOT start the game on hard until after you've obtained all the trophies except "Walking Death" and "Platinum". The reason for this is that none of your stats carry over to your new game.

Step 2: Play through the game on hard. Hard will unlock once you've beaten the game on normal.

Closing remarks: It has been suggested that there is a glitch that allows you to use cheats without a penalty to trophies. I can't personally confirm this, but the method and cheats are given here: What will happend? - (see specifically post #10).

[PS3T would like to thank Cauchy for this Road Map]

Getting Started
Killed 100 enemies (2)

See "What I Do Best".

A Day's Work
Killed 500 enemies

See "What I Do Best".

What I Do Best
Killed 2000 enemies

You shouldn't need to farm this trophy. However, if you've gotten all other trophies during in your "normal" playthrough (i.e. all other trophies except "Walking Death" and "Platinum"), then just pick your favorite level with a lot of easy enemies. I like level 1.

You Can't Hide
Lunged to 250 enemies

In the game's first level, you will learn how to perform a lunge attack (hold R1 to lock on an enemy, then press L1 lunge). Each lunge that results in the death of the enemy counts towards your total.

Lunged to 25 enemies

See "You Can't Hide".

Lunged to 100 enemies

See "You Can't Hide".

Piggy Back Ride
Lunged to a W.E.N.D.I.G.0 prototype's back

The Prototypes have multiple attacks. One of their bigger ones results in them being stalled momentarily. During one of these, you want to dash behind them and perform a lunge attack. This will mount you on their back and allow you to pummel them for a little while. After you successfully do this for the first time, the trophy will pop. (This is also the most effective way to kill these ogres.) For a reminder on how to perform a lunge, see "You Can't Hide".

Quick Killer
Quick Killed 1 enemy

See "Efficient Killer".

Efficient Killer
Quick Killed 20 enemies

To do a quick kill grab a enemy with circle then immediately press triangle. You will go into a short slow-mo animation during which Wolverine's arm will flash and you will hear a small chime. At this point, press triangle again to execute the execution.

Perfect Killer
Quick Killed 3 enemies in a row

You have to perform 3 quick kills in succession. See "Efficient Killer" for a reminder on how to perform a quick kill.

Drop Dead
Killed 10 enemies by throwing them off high areas

Grab enemies with circle and direct where you want to throw them with the left analogue stick. Good areas to farm this are the tower in chapter 3 and the second to last checkpoint in chapter 4 (right before the boss fight).

Raised One Combat Reflex to Master Level

See "Samurai".

Raised All Combat Reflexes to Master Level (7)

(Note: The following is paraphrased from MadcatNL's Xbox360a guide.) Wolverine has five Combat Reflexes, which all have three levels. You improve your level by beating enemies that fit in the type of reflex. The five reflexes are:

  • Machete: This goes up by killing enemies with machetes. Grinding can be done on level one, checkpoint one, level three checkpoints one and three and level five, checkpoint one.
  • Machine Gunner: This goes up by killing enemies with machine guns. Grinding can basically be done in all chapters, level one, section three and on, and level four section three are advisable these feature most machine gunners.
  • Jungle Mutants: This goes up by killing Hunters, Shifters and Levathians. Grinding is best in level five, checkpoint one.
  • Robots: This goes up by killing robots like the Enforcer Droid, Predator Unit and Mark 1 Prototype. Grinding is best done in level three, from checkpoint two on
  • Specialized Military Units: This goes up by killing Elite Commandos, Goliaths, W.E.N.D.I.G.0 Prototype's, Ghosts and Grenadiers. Grinding can be done on level four, checkpoint three or the last checkpoint of level three (where you fight four W.E.N.D.I.G.0 Prototypes).

Once you find the Samurai Mutagen make sure to equip this, as this advances your reflexes faster. You would need approximately two playthroughs to get all reflexes to master level. If you grind one section the time you need will depend on the section you play.

Mutant Lover
Raised one Mutagen to level 3

Mutagen power-ups can be found throughout the game and each type has three levels. Find the each power-up for a given type and the trophy will unlock.

Found 1/2 of all Dog Tags in the game

See "Devil's Brigade".

Devil's Brigade
Found all Dog Tags in the game (12)

Here is a link to the Mahalo guide: Mahalo Dog Tag Guide. Credit to Shaddack for finding this while our sister site's guide was down.

Here is a link to the new and improved guide at our sister site: Dog Tag Guide. Credit to Wozamil for pointing out that this was back up.

Performed 1 Counter move

See "Untouchable".

Performed 25 Counter moves

To perform a counter move, press R2 just as a melee opponent is about to strike. When you sucessfully block, the game will go into slow-mo and you will hear a ching. Press square before the slow-mo stops to perform counter. Repeat 25 times.

Killed 1 enemy with a reflected projectile

See "Boomerang".

Killed 25 enemies with a reflected projectile (2)

You will encounter enemies with rocket launchers beginning in level 2. When they shoot a rocket towards you block it with R2 just before it makes contact and you'll send the rocket hurtling back to them. (This is one of the more physically ridiculous game mechanics in this game.)

Aerial Assault
Performed 10 Air Grabs

Get an enemy airborn any way you can. I like using the ground attack. Once in the air, jump with X and grab the enemy with circle. Repeat 10 times.

Ultimate Wolverine
Fought 4 W.E.N.D.I.G.0 prototypes at the same time and defeated them at Alkali lake. (4)

You can only get during the Alkali Lake boss fight against Agent Zero. He will initiate the fight by shooting out one of the tanks holding a WENDIGO. It may be by chance that the other three tanks don't get busted up. You do NOT want this to happen. To take matters into your own hands, just go to the tank and bust it open. I recommend taking out one WENDIGO at a time as things can get pretty nasty if you're up against all four at once.

Hot Potato
Light 20 enemies on fire (4)

Lighting enemies on fire can be a bit tricky. The easies way to do this (and really the only way that I know of) is to light yourself on fire and then attack an enemy to transfer the flames. A good place to farm this is checkpoint 3 of level 3. Kill the Shifters to start then kick the "fire block" down to the ground floor. Do NOT kill the main machete enemy, since he'll be spawning the other machete enemies you DO want to kill. Use the block to light yourself on fire, then kill the other enemies while lit up. If you accidently kill the main machete guy just go to the next room to activate the savepoint. Quit, then restart the process.

Shotgun Epic Fail
Killed 25 Ghosts with their own weapon

Ghosts appear for the first time in level 2. They have the ability to turn themselves invisible. However, you can still see them when in Feral Sense. (So, use it!) Grab them and hammer triangle to turn their shotguns on themselves and blow their brains out. Awesome.

You feel a cold as you examine the sword and skeleton. A rustle of wind in the trees faintly echoes the name Arthas (1)

The sword and skeleton are in Chapter 2 - Alkali Lake.

Aerial Master
Got 6 enemies airborne at once

Do NOT attempt this until you've upgraded the ground attack. There are plenty of locations that this can be done (anywhere where 6 or more enemies are attacking you at once. This is the one suggest by MadcatNL:

Alternatively, Viarco has this to say:

On Chapter 3 "Days of Future Begginings", on Checkpoint "Finding Agent Zero", there's a point right at the beggining where you have to lunge yourself to a guard to clear a huge gap. After that, you'll be on top of a really narrow bridge. Kill the first to Machine Gunners then head for the Machetes. At this point, you'll face two regular Machetes and two Spawners, which will spawn two Machetes at a time, making it 8 targets for you to lift, all launching themselves towards you, in a very narrow space. And even if you only hit 4 the first time, if you do a second ground shake, you'll definitely have enough enemies on your second try.

I think its a lot better than the video alternative because the space is really narrow in this situation. You can also try "Slice n' Dice" here but I don't know if the Machetes that fall down the bridge count towards your kill count...

Fully Loaded
Maxed out all upgrades (3)

You acquire XP from killing enemies and breaking things. XP increases your level. Each time you level up you get skill points. Skill points can be spend on upgrades. Upgrades can be upgraded with more skill points. You will have to kill a lot to get everything fully upgraded. Be prepared for a bit of grinding.

Slice n' Dice
Killed 6 enemies with a single attack (1)

You need the same set-up as Aerial Master: 6 enemies around swarming you. Also, it will be easier to get this if you have your Berserker and Claw Spin abilities fully upgraded. Try to face enemies that are fairly week. Put yourself in Berserker mode and perform a Claw Spin. If 6 or more enemies die before your Claw Spin runs out, then the trophy is yours.

You found a mysterious hatch!

This happens in the first level. Here is a link to an associated youtube video:

Slaughter House
Dismembered 100 enemies

You shouldn't need to farm this one, as most combos end with dismemberment. If you've somehow managed to get the 2000 kill trophy before this one unlocks, just keep killing making sure to always complete your combos.

Killed 200 enemies with Claw Spin

To activate Claw Spin hold R2 and press square.

Walking Death
Beat the game on Hard Difficulty (2)

Hard is only unlocked after you beat the game on normal. You should not attempt the game on hard until after you've unlock all the other trophies (except the Platinum, of course). The reason for this is that none of you stats carry over. You have been warned twice.

Heightened Senses
Killed 200 enemies in Feral Sense

Press UP on your D-Pad to activate Feral Sense. There is no penalty (except a weird color scheme) to being in Feral Sense. So, just always have this activated and you will get this trophy in no time.

Environmentally Friendly
Killed 10 enemies using objects in the environment

See "Whatever it Takes".

Whatever it Takes
Killed 30 enemies using objects in the environment

To get this trophy just grab enemies while you're close to Spikes or other object that you can impale enemies on. The game will automatically make you impale the enemy.

Killed 50 enemies while in Berserker mode

See "Weapon X".

Weapon X
Killed 150 enemies while in Berserker mode

You can unlock the Berserker ability fairly early on. It gives you extra strength for a short time. Each enemy that you kill while in it will count towards your total. To use the Berserker ability hold R2, then press circle.

The Cake
You found the cake, yummy! (1)

The Cake is in Chapter 3 - Raven's Explanation.

Clean Up on all Aisles
Destroyed all objects in the grocery store fight with Fred Dukes (The Blob)

You need to destroy everything in the store (except the center walls). An easy way to see the destroyable objects is to enter Feral Sense. If it glows in Feral Sense, destroy it!

Secret Trophies
You collected all the trophies in Wolverine. (1)

'Nuff said.

Bar Fight
Defeated Victor Creed (Sabretooth)

This is story-based. The trophy will unlock after the bar fight with Creed. Don't forget to go for "Stick Around" before beating him.

Helicopter Ride
Defeated David Nord (Agent Zero)

This is story-based. The trophy will unlock after you take down the chopper with Nord in it. Don't forget to go for "Ultimate Wolverine" before doing the chopper sequence and taking him down.

Fallen Sentinel
Defeated the Sentinel Mark I (1)

This is story-based. The trophy will unlock after the free-fall sequence with the sentinel. Don't forget to go for "Threading the Needle" before beating it.

Put up your Dukes
Defeated Fred Dukes (The Blob)

This is story-based. The trophy will unlock after you've beat Dukes. Don't forget to get "Clean Up on all Aisles" before beating him.

52 Pickup
Defeated Remy LeBeau (Gambit)

This is story-based. The trophy will unlock after you've beaten Gambit.

The Dead Pool
Defeated Weapon 11 (Deadpool)

This is story-based. The trophy will unlock after you beat Dead Pool. This is the final boss. A lot of people struggle with this fight. The best way to attack Dead Pool is to start a counter and then follow up by non-stop ground attacks. You can usually link together about 4 or 5 ground attacks before Dead Pool teleports. When he does this, close the gap between the two of you until you're close enough for a lunge attack. Perform one to close the remaining gap quickly. This way you can avoid getting shot off the platform by his pesky laser. When you get close again, repeat the counter/ground attack combo. Wash and repeat until he drops. This may take a couple of tries so don't get discouraged.

Spillway Escape
Escapes from Weapon X

This is story-based and will unlock after you escape the spillway.

Threading the Needle
Flew through the O ring in the Sentinel Boss Battle

In the skydive (second) part of the Sentinel fight, a ton of debris will fly of his body as you including a very large "O ring". You have to navigate Wolverine "through" this O ring. I say "through" because you don't actually go through, at least I didn't. I got walloped by the thing and the trophy still unlocked. I did get walloped towards the center though. So don't go thinking that you can just knick it.

The Village
Completed the Jungle Mission

This is story-based. The trophy will unlock after you've cleared the last mission in the Jungle.

James Howlett
Performed a Wolverine to Wolverine Lunge

You must find unlock one of the Bonus Challenges for this trophy. These are unlocked by finding the associated figurines. There are two figurines for each challenge. Once the challenge is unlocked, enter the fight, lock on the other Wolverine with R1 and wait for him to perform a lunge. Just after he initiates the lunge, you execute yours.

Stick Around
Impaled Victor Creed outside the Bar (1)

Early in the game, you will fight Victor Creed. The first part of the fight is in a bar. After you damage him a certain amount, the fight will move outside. There are various poles that you can use to impale him. If you can't figure out which, use your Feral Sense.
