I'm not one for weird games like this and the only reason I got it was because it was £3.99, so I don't know much about the history of the series. It's basically you rolling around a 'Katamari' which is a ball that makes objects stick to it. The aim is to get the Katamari to certain size in a given time limit. The 100% isn't difficult, some of the requests may be difficult on your first time because of the horrible controls this game has. You have to replay requests multiple times to get cousins, presents, etc so it is a fairly long and boring 100%. The trophy that will take the longest is 'Fanatic' as you have to spend a ridiculous 76,500 for that one item. There is a method to get that much in a few hours though so see the trophy guide for info on that. Onto the walkthrough.
Walkthrough
Step 1: Complete the Game
Just complete all 13 requests as they appear, simple. You don't have to go for anything else in this step and you'll just want to focus on beating the game. The requests don't take long and most are 'Reach x size in x minutes'. Some can be difficult, but you will learn the best places to go at the start eventually and you should pass it. At the end of the tutorial I had x3 of those sweet things that allow you to do the sweet talk, so you can get the 'Sweet Talker' trophy then. If you don't use all 3 in one go wait until you find a fan then trade them in for 3 of them. At the end if this step you should have:
Katamari Noob
Congratuoations
Sweet Talker
Katamari Fan Damacy (Maybe)
Step 2: Collect all of the collectibles through eternal mode and grind candies using the time cheat
Chances are you won't have enough candy to buy all of the mode levels, so you want to use the time glitch. You do this by loading up the game, then selecting 'Curio menu', once there you want to press the PS button on the vita and then go to 'Settings', 'Date and Time' and the set it manually forward 1 day. Don't shut settings down, leave it run in the background. Go back to the game and press to back out of the 'Curio Menu', the king will say something about you staying all the time. Now go back to the 'Curio Menu' and repeat the process again After you do this 7 times you will reach the maximum number of 256 candies, you will get this every time you skip the day forward. Once you have about 10,000 buy all the music, the mode levels and as Many clothes as you can.
Now you have those trophies out the way go back to the levels and play them in eternal and collect all the curios, presents and the cousins in each level. Once you have done that, replay each level again and pick up the present (Presents only appear after picking up the cousin). See the trophy guide for more info. The final thing you want to do is buy the final king item which appears after buying all the other items in the fashion shop, it costs 76,500 and is going to take a hell of a long time to reach. Using the time cheat it will take a few hours, so you have to endure that boredom to get that high. At the end of this step you should have 100%, congrats! If not, continue to step 3.
Step 3: Clean Up
Missed out on a collectible? Didn't find a fan? Well now is the time to go back and get them. You should now have 100%.
