The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spider-Man Trophies
On the Fly
Collect all 700 Spider-Man Comic Pages

As you swing around Manhattan, you will see glowing yellow comic pages. Sometime you will be prompted to press to web rush to them.

There are 100 flying comic book pages which you must press to web rush to, and then press when given the prompt in order to collect, and 600 pages that are on buildings or solid ground.

Once you have collected 500, the remaining 200 will appear as yellow dots on your mini-map, making it much easier to collect the final pages.
If you’re having trouble getting 500, once you complete the game you will be able to select what time of day you want to explore the city in – pick Night, and the yellow glow that the comics give off will be really prominent, and help you find them. They also make a noise if you are close to them.

Collecting all 700 pages will give you this trophy.

I hope by "Collect" this doesn't mean "find 700 of these scattered throughout the game". Maybe we unlock them by doing stuff?

i think this highlights worst thing about free-roam games: cheap devices to extend gameplay. Just how i felt about the shards in Infamous. No, I do not want to spend 10 hours of gameplay searching the nooks and crannies of the city-scape. I'd rather just play the game for fun.

writing a guide for this anybody interested in making a video guide for this would be gladly accepted as an assistant for the guide

Oh my God, this is epic, 700 comic pages to see?

Don't care about collecting, I'm interesting in seeing them.

@9 the shards in inFamous are no where near as terrible as those orbs from Prototype.

It's not bad at all. If you are even remotely looking in the direction of a page, a prompt comes up and you can press R1 to wep zip right to it, and pages continually respawn. 700 should come easy through the course of swinging through the city.

After finind 500 comics, the last 200 would be shown on your mini-map with a yellow dot. But if you want an easy way to find them, play through the game, until night time occurs. Now during night time the comics would be easier to find because they shine and are easier to spot.

This trophy can be obtained in shortly under 5 hours, that may seem long but its the last few pages that make this time consuming, as posted above once you reach 500 they appear on the mini-map but good luck to those waiting on a guide because after 500 when you collect one a new one appears somewhere random on the mini-map, also if you use the mini-map you will actually hear the pages glittering when you are close enough to collect it, if you hear and cant find one look to the sky, the last 10 or so make this very time consuming as the map is vast and the dots appear when your in radius of the page my last page to collect took me 45 minutes just to make it appear on the mini-map doing a swing through of every street in the game.
Hope this helps (probably not) but its a start and a heads

90% sure my game is glitched. There was one page in the bottom right part of the map that I picked up and when I did it didn't add to my counter, all it did was disappear. But the glowing dust stayed behind along with the noise that emanates from the pages when you get near them. Out of fright I restarted my game hoping it would fix it but I didn't check to see if the counter changed :C I remember the location though... HELP!? Closure please .__.

PISSED OFF. I'm right. I have spent over 5 hours now searching for that ONE page. I have all 100 of the Flying Pages and I am missing just that ONE stationary page that doesn't exist. My greatest concern is if I saved my data to a flash drive, got the trophy on new data and then upload my old save into my PS3 if it will read my data as if I were playing someone elses... reeeeh, Prototype Orb things... MEDIUM. Infamous Blast Shards... EASY. The Amazing Spider-Man Comic Book Pages... GLITCHED.

Problem solved, I know this isn't the right place for all the spam I've accumulated... but- I figured doing a couple levels would fix it, it didn't at first- I did up to the Feline Bank Robbery mission and after it checked back at the spot of my null comic page and it reappeared precisely where I had not been able to pick it up and I got it! Never been so peeved since Lost Lewts in Borderlands General Knoxx DLC...

Can everyone cast their minds back to spiderman: web of shadows where you needed over 2000 spider tokens... This shouldn't be that hard in comparison.

this trophey wasnt all that hard to get, and it was super fun.
if you like web-rushing and swinging thru the city, (which i don't know why you wouldn't,) then this can be done with ease. i pretty much circled the outer area over and over grabbing everything that popped up. then made my was inwards gradually. another good method to use is to just web-rush straight into the air and free fall... you'll find a lot of more hidden ones this way. it only started to become difficult when i was down to the last 5 pages cos many of them were hidden by other icon indicators on the map. i must have spent more time looking for those 5 than i did collecting the first of the 200 that appear on radar. i've been playing for almost 20 hours now and this definitally didn't take me nearly half that time to d

my only gripe is, i kinda wish collecting the last 200 unlocked a final eleventh comic... say the very first Amazing Spider-Man issue or something. that would've been sweet. oh well, it's still sweet to be able to read the 10 you get.

Here's a hint - turn off the music... As you get closer to a comic book the ringing gets louder and its easier to hear that audio change with the music off.

I found my last comic. It was so high in the air, that it was missing from the map, until I went way up on Oscorp Tower. It was so high above Oscorp Tower that I could not target it or zipline straight up. I had to run up the tall "horn" of the tower's highest point and run straight up, then I was high enough to turn around for targeting with Web Rush mode.

I got the 700 comic book pages, but it didn't unlock anything. Of course I got the trophy, but there wasn't any special in-game item/comic to unlock. I thought I was going to get a new suit once I reached 700, but I don't see anything.

just got this. it really isn't difficult, annoying or time consuming. i found the first 500 just by playing the game and stumbling upon them. as said in the guide the last 200 appear on the minimap when you're getting close to them. got the next 198 by always going to the closest yellow dot on the minimap (which show the location of the pages). it took me just around half an hour to get these. after that there where no more yellow dots, as i wasnt close to any of the remaining ones, but it just took me around a minute to find the last two pages by swinging across the city. i have to say that i seldom enjoyed getting collectables as much as in this game (at least the pages in open world manhattan)
