The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spider-Man Trophies
Complete the game on super hero difficulty

At the beginning of the game, you will have the choice between Human, Hero, and Super Hero difficulty. Select Super Hero and complete the game in order to unlock this trophy. Super Hero is The Amazing Spider-Man's Hard difficulty.

This trophy stacks with Peter Parker and Vigilante; completing the game on Hero will also give you the trophy for completing it on Human.

If you choose to play through on Super Hero first as I advised, you will probably find yourself playing much more stealthily than if you went for an easier difficulty. Try to take down as many villains as possible in the shadows, using to perform stealth takedowns, and don't be afraid to web retreat with if you find that your health is dropping too low. Most sections can be gotten through if you go slowly and carefully - rushing in is more hazardous, and of course, practice makes perfect.

If you play through on an easier difficulty first, Super Hero won't be half as difficult, since you'll know exactly what to expect in each level.

Potentially Glitched – It has been reported that people have completed the game on Super Hero and only received the trophy for completing it on Human. In order to avoid this, before starting a new game, go to the Options menu on the Main Menu and change the difficulty to Super Hero. Then select Super Hero when you are given the choice after starting a New Game. This should ensure you get all the trophies you deserve when you finish the game.

unlike other beenox spidey games you cannot play on a lower difficulty to have all the upgrades then switch difficulties and use level select.

Also make sure to start the game on Super Hero difficulty. Because if you pass it on Normal or Easy, and you want to move on to Hard, your previous save data would be deleted with everything else. But I don't if that includes characters bios or art.

Alright if you made same mistake as me and started the game on medium and not hard difficulty and got everything, no problem. I found a way on how to secure your previous save, with all your collectibles and still be able to play the game on hard.
Alright first you will need to have another user. You would have to go to your save files, find the Spider-Man save, click triangle and hit copy. Now if you have PS+ I think you can easily back up your files. But if you don't just copy it to your other user. Now you're able to play the game on hard without worries, and after you get the Super Hero trophy, just delete that save data, go to the other user and copy your original save data back.
That's how I got the trophy, so it does work. I hope it helps some of you guys. If you need a vid

So, unfortunatlly like others here have, I started the game on Hero, not foreseeing this problem. However, if one were to make sure to aquire all the trophies (apart from the Spider-Man trophey) on the first playthru of the game on Hero difficulty, wouldn't it be simple enough to just beat the story on Super Hero then to finish getting all the trophies? or does getting the rest of the trophies for some reason require you to do multiple playthrus? I don't see why it would.

If so, my suggestion to those currently playing on Hero with the intent of 100%ing the game would be to do just that; don't complete the story until you've aquired all other side quest trophies. That way, when you go to play it again on Super Hero, even though you won't have all your stuff from the previous playthru, you won't have to even bother and can just zip thru the story.

This playthrough is simple if you have beaten it on medium and gotten 100%. It is very easy the second time because A) you know where stuff is. B) You know which upgrades you use/like and need to upgrade first. C) You don't have to get those darn comic books, lol. D) You get to keep the black spider suit :D
