Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Trophies
Awarded for setting foot in all secluded regions.

To get this, you'll need to have stepped into every town, dungeon, forest, and cave. Here is a map of all of them (purple markers are story related and unmissable, green markers are optional caves and forests) - World Map (IGN). You cannot get this until after you beat the game, because there is one small forest south of the starting town that does not open until then.

If this is anything like 3D Dot Heroes then I am going to cry, weep, sob... Then happily go throughout the game stepping foot in every location possible because this game just looks and plays like it's worth more than my $60, I pre-ordered the GameStop one that comes with the steal/tin case. But I can't find the Wizard Edition anywhere. :C Breaks my heart.......... seriously.

I talked to a GameStop employee & he says that North America will not be seeing the Wizard Edition for sale.

This one might be tricky...there are several unmarked areas on the map. So far they have been caves and forests. Best bet is to wander through each reasonably well forested area on the map and run into any wall that looks like an opening.

This should help. All of the forest ares (where the Forest Dwellers live) are actually marked in the Wizard's Companion in the "Regions of the World" section. They'll be the forest areas with red marks on them.

The Wizard's Companion WAS sold in the US, it was just only purchasable through the Namco Bandai online store. It took less than a month though for the pre-orders on it to fill back in August. For the record, speaking as someone who's already platinumed the game, you can't get this trophy until after you beat the game. By that time, revisiting older areas will be a lot easier, so I wouldn't sweat this trophy too much. There's only like three or so caves anyway. It's forests that you'll probably need a guide/map to find.

Dang it! I still don't have this trophy even though I'm pretty sure I've set foot to every forest, cave, town, and story-related locations. I'm already at the post-game, is the IGN map really reliable for this? (It's what I had been using)

@ #8: Yes, it is:

Use "filter" since some spots are covered by others otherwise.

You have to visit every wood and every cave as well. Keep in mind you can't access the "rabbit" wood (in the south of Ding Dong Dell) before game completion. This wood counts as well.

@ #5:

The caves are also marked in the regions section of the Wizard's Companion with a small blue "cave mouth" symbol. Also the forest symbol is actually a red "tree" symbol. Don't forget that you can zoom in to see the symbols with better detail. Hope this helps everyone find the caves and forests easier.

@9 is this trophy just the forest and caves filter?

Does anyone know a list of locations that you DON'T visit by doing every quest?
