Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Trophies
Treasure Hunter
Awarded for finding all hidden treasure chests.

There are 100 invisble treasure boxes hidden around the world map. You can open them without knowing, but once you get Tengri, you will get the spell Seek Fortune which will show them on the continent/island you're currently on, and cause an exclamation mark to appear over your head when you are near one. As soon as you get Tengri, you can get 95 of them, but you won't have access to the last 5 until near the end of the game. Here's a map of the 100 chests (the red markers) - World Map (IGN).

One thing to note. The boxes around Yule (the ice town) tend to be surrounded by little cliffs and such. You may try to land Tengri near one and get stuck and be unable to call Tengri to you, so you'll have to teleport out.

This trophy is somewhat linked to the Globetrotter trophy. All the secluded areas that I have found so far have had at least one treasure chest in it.

This trophy is in no way associated with Globetrotter. It does not factor in the green/purple/blue chest you find in "indoors" areas. The only chests that count for this are found on the world map using Seek Fortune. Simply cast that spell, then collect all the chests you see in the area, and move on to the next. It's not even that time consuming. You will have to visit most of the little islands for stray ones.

Oh so this is for world map chests only? I been flying to every little island and area using Seek Fortune and thought I got all of them and the trophy didn't pop so I started going into towns and stuff.

Must of missed one.

I want to point out that you can start finding these before you have the Seek Fortune spell. If you look in the Wizard's Companion for the region you are in you will notice small "keyhole" symbols on the map. Each of these mark one of the hidden treasures.

As usual I'm missing one. And I've been flying all over the world looking for it. Crap :(

My last hidden chest was in "Ghostly Gorge". Travel to The Tombstone trail and it was to the east, top right corner.

I'm missing one - this reminds me of the shard thing in inFamous.

Anyways, tomorrow I'll search for the last one.
