Can't You Go Any Faster?! Trophy in Muramasa Rebirth

  • Can't You Go Any Faster?!

Complete the game in 3 hours.

How to unlock Can't You Go Any Faster?!

Best way to do this is as Kisuke on Legend. Run past every enemy, besides the ones you are required to fight and make sure to stock up on Bronze Mirrors. Once you have killed a boss, use a bronze mirror to teleport back to the last shrine you visited, saving valuable time. Most of the bosses will be easy enough to kill with your first swords, but when you do get to a high enough level, switch to the new blades that you have acquired through boss fights. Don't even bother forging sword - I didn't and beat the game in 2 hours 33 minutes. The trophy will pop at the beginning of the credits if you have completed it within the time limit. NOTE: If you pause the game, the timer will continue to count, but if you put your Vita into sleep mode, the timer will stop.

  • Not hard but tricky. Play on Legend and fly through the maps fighting only what you have to. Make good use of bronze mirrors and do not panic. STOP FOR NO MERCHANT
  • If you make frequent use of bronze mirrors, play on legend, skip most of the optional stuff and restart if you die to a boss or take an obscene amount of time to defeat it, this trophy should be easy to get. I beat Kisuke's story only using one bronze mirror, so most of your time will come from running to your destination and I only had 5 minutes to spare because of it. You can save before a boss without overwriting your bronze mirror location, too. I am not sure if this is common knowledge or if it was mentioned, but I always assumed it took you back to the last save point you used.
  • I have completed this trophy in 2 hours in legendary mode. I was level 15 by the end. I strongly suggest anyone to finish the two golden trophies on fury mode first because you will know how to handle each boss easily. I basically avoided all enemy encounters and went straight for the boss everytime. Finishing it with Kisuke is recommended because his bosses are relatively easier.
  • this trophy seems hard, time window to keep yourself paced finish the first four boss the tutorial boss the centipede boss the chick on the ghost mount boss in the first hour the chick with charms boss the giant samurai boss the spider boss in the second hour dedicated the remaining time for the last two bosses and you will even get sometime to farm a bit.. Remember, level 15 is all that is needed to beat the final boss, but you will need to know their weaknesses.
  • Just platinumed it yesterday and i finished with the speed run. Much easier than anticipated. I did it with Momohime, by the end of the first hour i was in front of the fifth boss and was in front of the last boss by 1:50.
  • Very frustrated with this trophy. Attempted it on my first Kisuke run (already cleared Monohime). When I hit pause when the final boss takes his last hit, I've had it at 2:59, 2:58, and most recently, 2:57. That's the last time you can pause to check time. But then there are a BUNCH of dialogue scenes to get through, as well as a quick vertical exploration bit. Does anyone know when the cut-off time for 3 hours is? I'd *really rather not* run this from the start again. (and yes, I did take detours along the way. I forged some swords, and I also hit every hot spring along the way. I know if I don't do those things I could easily clear at like 2:30. I just ... don't want to do a whole separate run when I know I have so much left)
  • Determined: the timer stops when credits start. I was able to optimize my save near the end; if you can clear final boss @ 2:55, then spam through end content, you'll clear before 3:00
