I Could Sing This Song For Hours Trophy in The LEGO Movie Videogame

  • I Could Sing This Song For Hours

Score 21 awesome dance moves in the Construction Site dance mini game.

How to unlock I Could Sing This Song For Hours

This takes place in level Bricksburg Construction, you will know its about to begin after you have fixed two speakers. The trick is to wait till the icon is in the circle and it twinkles, flashes, sparkles, whichever word you prefer. If you hit the corresponding icon when it does that you will get all 21 no problem. The trophy will pop after the score screen. If you happen to miss any you can stand in front of the stereo and press and it will restart the dance for you. You must get all 21 awesome scores in one game, you cannot get 11 in one game and 10 in a second game. According to Combatting, there is a sweet spot somewhere on the dance floor that will allow you to retry the dance if you fail it.

  • There are 21 moves in this dance game, so you not only need to hit 100% of the moves, but you need to get an Awesome (versus a Good or Cool) on each move as well. Your natural instinct will be to tap the correct button as the letter is approaching the circle so that it hits right on target (like in Guitar Hero) but this isn't the way to get Awesome. Instead what you want to do is make sure the letter hits the circle first and you will see it pause for just a quick millisecond, which is when you want to hit the button. You will get the feel for it really quickly.
  • I cannot get the dance to re-start
  • The decription is a little misleading (for the restart). Pressing circle at the stereo like suggested in the description does nothing for this mini game. To restart, simply go to where the dance floor is and press circle, this works.
  • Thanks Statman. Everything is Awesome. Everything is cool, when you're part of a team.
  • You have to fix the right speaker last just like you had to do in story mode to avoid the glitch.
  • Not sure if I can edit my own post, but if you just fly up there and fix that speaker first, the game doesn't register it correctly because it missed the cutscene where it shows you the still broken speaker after you plug in the stereo. Hope this helps someone as I was a bit lost and frustrated looking for information on this.
