Kingdom Hearts Final Mix HD

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix HD Trophies
Defeat the World of Chaos in the End of the World within 15 hours

For this trophy you must clear the game in under 15 hours, this surprisingly isn't as difficult as it seems. If you've played the game previously, it may seem hard when you spent a lot of time exploring each areas, taking on optional tasks mid story and fighting through all heartless encounters. If one were to run straight through the game you can easily do it within 10-14 hours depending on the difficulty. For a straightforward walkthrough of the game, please refer to this GameFAQs Kingdom Hearts Final Mix Walkthrough.

Additonal Tips for Speedster

  • Skip all heartless encounters unless you are forced to fight them, don't worry about your level as boss fights and fighting forced fights in higher worlds will easily make up for it.
  • Keep in mind that you can skip either Atlantica or Halloween Town, of the two it might be best to skip Atlantica if you choose to do this.
  • The timer is moving at all times even when you pause with or with the xmb, if you have something you need to do simply save and pick it back up when you have the time to play.
  • Cutscenes don't add to your time but if you want to get this playthrough over with you have the option to press and skip it.

Once you have beaten the final boss meeting this criteria the trophy will unlock after the cutscene before the credits.

It's probably recommended to do this on Beginner Mode.

Is this even possible? On PS2 I finished the game on 42 hours....

Anything's possible. There are FF9 speedruns for about 8 and a half hours.

This game is possible to beat in 6 hours according to the Speed Demos Archive speed run of this game. I sincerely hope we see skippable cutscenes. In the original you cannot skip cutscenes and that would make it a pain to start over if you miss out by a bit.

I just got this trophy in roughly 8 hours, skipped the cutscenes to enjoy the story on another play through on beginner mode. Ansem can be a little difficult when you have to fight him solo.

Good Luck everyone

fighting the creature in the volcano in the end of the world at level 47 with 7 hours and 18 minutes on the clock so far its definitely possible to beat the game under 15 hours and still have some time left over for other worlds.

Remember people you can completely skip Olympus Coliseum and either Atlantica or Halloween Town. I recommend skipping Atlantica because its longer and you have to swim.

Also on Beginner you get an accessory automatically equipped that give you 30% more EXP as well as some items to boost your stats. Just don't touch anything in the equipment menu if you're going for the no changing of equipment trophy.

VERY IMPORTANT! Cutscenes do NOT stop the clock! I reiterate, the cutscenes continue to count toward toward your time. If you want the fastest run through, you should skip all cutscenes. I have done extensive testing and confirmed that pausing during cutscenes or simply letting them play out will continue to progress the time.

To anyone who misses the 15 hour mark, you can cheat it. If you wanna do 100% or leave the game running for a few days at 100 hours the clock resets to 00:00:00 if you beat the game within 15 hours after that you get the trophy. I just got it at 01:24.

You do not need Thunder. You can simply glide to the platform and grab the emblem :)

I can confirm that the method #16 said. I've just completed it on proud mode after 100 hours and it unlocked for me.
I just completed every world. Defeated every optional boss. Got to level 100. Did all the synthesis. Completed all tournaments.
My time was around 85 hours. So I just left it on while then did the final bosses.
Soted. :)

dang i thought i was fast i just beat malificent and riku at hollow bastion @6hours, im probably looking at about an 8 hour game.

side note: i did atlantica and tried to go to neverland, it flew me all the way to halloween town, tried to go back from there, and it went back to atlantica, so i cleared halloween town and that fixed it, when i originally played KH on ps2 i skipped atlantica the first time, so i think you can skip atlantica but not halloween town? not sure but i basically wasted my time at atlantica and couldve had a more impressive time stamp :(

i got it without replaying the game , because there's a trick to it,

when the timer goes over 99:99:99 , after that the timer will reset to the

beginning starting from 0 , in my case i went to defeat the final boss (Ansem)

and my playing time was about 01:15:00 (the color of the timer is green) ,

and just after killing the ship-headed heartless (World of Chaos) this

trophy pop up ...... at least better than playing the game twice , i wish

you guys add and share this tip ... enjoy ^_^

I'm working on that trophy at the moment in Beginner, and just finished Neverland at 3:49. Hopefully I'll get it within 5-6 hours of play. Also getting Unchanging Armor and Undefeated along with this.
I think 4 hours is possible if you skip every single unnecessary battle/change to stronger keyblades as you progress.

I got this between 5 and 6 hours. Also did it with Unchanging Armor and Undefeated. Ansem is a pain in the ass using just the kingdom key and that low of a level.

cutscenes DO COUNT so skip them as you go if you're familiar with the game and what to do next otherwise save speedster for another playthrough

What vegetoss4 said above is correct. I just watched my girlfriend do this. She took longer than 99:99:99 to beat the game, so the timer reset to 00:00:00. She beat the last boss with about 2 hours on the clock and got this trophy.

Pretty silly than you can either beat the game really fast OR really slow to get this trophy. ;)

It resets @ 99:59:59. I can also confirm waiting until the reset works.

The dev might patch the 99:99:99 glitch though... just a small warning if you decided to go for it that way. But just don't update a possible future patch and you should be good.

Well, as of 3/6/14, the 99:99:99 glitch is still working! I just finished the game, and sure enough, this trophy popped! If they are thinking of patching it, I would suggest taking care of this one ASAP!

I'm bad about leaving my game on when I'm not playing so I was always planning to do the clock reset glitch. Apparently after a few cycles (probably 4-5) it does eventually max out at 99:59:59. The numbers on the clock are red on the last cycle.

And of course it maxed out after I finished everything and was just waiting for the next reset to take on the final boss v.v

There's a glitch where if you let the game run for 100 hours, the timer will reset to 00 cause it can't make the third digit but the color changed from Blue to Green. It is possible to beat it in this new 15 hours and get the trophy
