Outgunned Trophy in Killzone: Shadow Fall

  • Outgunned

In singleplayer, kill 6 Helghast with headshots within a single adrenaline rush

    How to unlock Outgunned

See Outsmarted for details on the location. At the end of the Destroyer chapter, you can get 6 headshot kills with a single adrenaline rush. In order for you to be able to do an adrenaline rush, you will need to make sure you have adrenaline packs on you. If the icon is not lit up on the bottom left corner of your screen, you do not have any. Lucky for us, on a table, between the two doors on the opposite side of the room will be two adrenaline packs.

Once you have them, wait back from the doors and just as they open, send in OWL for a Stun attack. There are only six guys coming through this door so you need to make sure you eliminate the soldiers shield that they have on. Once you have them stunned, activate the adrenaline rush with and take aim and score only headshots.

If you fail, just hit restart checkpoint and after a few tries, you should get it. Another place that you can get this is halfway through Chapter 5 when you come up to a market in the section "Make Him Pay". There will be more than enough enemies that will get bunched up just seconds after you're spotted.

  • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUZiPEmx-mg Chapter 5 - Section "Make Him Pay" A great place to do this is halfway through the fifth chapter. You will come to an area that looks like a little marketplace. Lots of enemies will attack at once, more than at any other point of the story. You really can't miss this, it's quite a big fight. Quickly take out the first couple of enemies, then use the OWL to stun a big group. Walk up to them and press ? to activate the adrenaline. Adrenaline can be picked up at the checkpoint before this fight. It will regenerate your health immediately and slow down time. To slow down time you need to aim using L2. Try to get really close to the enemies, so it's easier to get headshots. Your standard weapon is fine to do this.
  • I did this at least 10 times during (i think it was 'The Patriot') getting 7 Headshots in 1 rush, yet it never popped up, and befor any suggestions say, "are you SURE they were all headshots" yes, yes i was.
  • Worked like a charm and I suck at FPS's in a big way.
  • Rather Powerplx way worked like a charm. I couldn't imagine how many times it would have taken me in Destroyer...
  • ok, here is another solution that I think is easier/easiest. Chapter 5 - Section "Make Him Pay" just like PowerPyx's video above with these tweaks: - Walk up to the first guard and wait until the second guard (the one that PowerPyx killed second) is easily targetable. Now silently take out the first guard and throw the knife at the second guard to take him out at the same time. Maybe play around a little to find the bes tlocation of guard 2. - Run up the stairs and kill anyone who is in your way. At a good location, cast the bot shield and activate the adrenaline. If nobody shoots you from the sides of the shield, you should have about 20 seconds of adrenaline rush (time shortens if you get hit). It might need a bit more accurate aiming because you are further away than PowerPyx but a
  • excellent tip by powerpyx all u did was line up the first head shot and move left to right firing at the whole group and it popped first try
  • This trophy was worse than all the multiplayer trophies for me. I tried to get this trophy at the end of the Destroyer-chapter maybe a year ago, tried again and again for hours but it didn't work even when I was pretty sure I got enough headshots. Yesterday I tried PowerPyx method, still took me an hour of retries (maybe 50 attempts, almost gave up) but in the end I got the trophy. Big thumbs up to PowerPyx! :D
  • Not sure what's so hard about the destroyer method, got it on my second try. I recommend popping your adrenaline just before the stun goes off to maximise the time during which enemies aren't shooting you as this will reduce the duration of adrenaline. Can be a bit of a pain when they're all reeling, but you should be able to hit 3-4 of them before they recover and even when getting shot, you should have time to get the remaining ones, especially since they'll be easier to headshot after recovering. Didn't try the Chapter 5 method though, so I have no clue if it's any easier, but if you're already going for Outsmarted then might as well get this here too and save time.
