Finish What You Started
Perform 100 finishers or ultra melee combos.

You will unlock the ability to perform melee Finishers after completing the story mission, "Evolution". Along with gaining the Pincer Bolt ability, you’ll also be able to purchase new powers as well, along with the Finisher melee power up. You won’t unlock the Ultra Combo ability though, until later on in the game.

When you attack enemies with the Amp, you’ll notice a gauge on the bottom left of your screen. As you smack enemies with it, the gauge will start to fill up. When it’s half way filled, you can perform a Finisher on enemies to finish them off by pressing .

An Ultra Melee Combo can be performed the same way, but will require the gauge to be filled all the way up. You'll be treated to an impressive finishing move this time around, complete with slow motion effects and extra flair.

Simply defeat 100 enemies using either of these methods to unlock this trophy. These moves will always take down normal sized enemies regardless of their health, so you will most likely get this trophy naturally due to their usefulness.

I can't say for certain since there's the delay on the trophy, but I'm 99% sure I obtained this on a whiff, and only a half charge.

So maybe call this confirmation on only needing to perform 100 finishers, not actually connect them with enemies.

Didn't go too far out of my way for this, probably a little over half way done with the game, a good time to farm this is when you're getting your 50 kills for "Knockout in the Blackout"

I hope performing finishers on civilians counts because I'm going for Cole' Blooded the brutal way.

Haha, yeah, it totally counts on civilians. Got my trophy on a street performer.

You can just get this while going through the game. Also note that you don't have to melee enemies for "Knockout in the blackout"

Confirming that it works on civilians. Got my last 10 kills in free roam on regular civilians (not even street performers)

@ #5 I don't think so. I found a UGC mission where it was infinite enemies, life and energy, and kept meleeing and finishing them but no trophy. think you have to get that legit.

Best way I found to grind this one out is in the Masquerade side mission where you defeat the disguised militia. There's a huge group of street performers that you can just throw melee attacks into. I did this on Hard and they were able to kill me each time, but not before I got a bunch of finishers. The mission restarts right in front of them and you can just do it over and over. The meter fills up in one swing since it registers several hits.

I also got quite a bit of XP since you'll get a ton of 4-in-1 and 5-in-1 blows.
